Max's Donut Shop — Restaurant in Corinth

Great donut shop! It is not often that we stop for a donut but we were pleasantly surprised to find this place. We ordered plain, raspberry filled, maple bacon, apple fritter and donut holes. The apple fritter was the best I have eaten in a while! It was a little crunchy on the outside and moist on the inside with plenty of apple cinnamon flavor! The raspberry filled was light and airy with just the right amount of filling. The smoky bacon was a bit chewy from picking up moisture but it was still delicious on top of the maple donut. Who doesn't love bacon? The boys must have loved the holes because they devoured them in just minutes! They could have something good here at this business but one bad apple will ruin it for the rest. Went yesterday and got a half dozen of donuts a boudain, pig in the blanket , and 3 drinks! How it totaled to almost $30 is ridiculous! I almost asked for a refund! We need to see a sign that confirms that your business is charging us customers an extra 4% to use a card! I literally heard this woman say my total was 20.87! To get charged $28 and some change is ridiculous! I believe this lady is asking us to tip without our permission! That’s why she always has that white card reader in her hand! Watch out for the short blonde with the glasses!...

I'm not sure why pre-made donuts take so long.. But I waited in the store for 15 minutes with only two people ahead of me and some people in the drive-thru.. nobody was helped. The woman was just running around on the phone I'm sure trying to get something else together but... Certainly not helping us.
