Pizza Grocery — Restaurant in Corinth

We will NEVER be back!!! NEVER EVER! Mark my words. Reservation was made and we showed up on time - we had a large party of 14. We arrived and got seated. Placed our drinks and first round of drinks showed up in a timely manner considering the amount of people we had. Some people placed a second round of drinks and it took approx 30mins for them to get their drinks (after asking several times where our drinks were). People from our table were having to walk to the back to the bar (the tavern) to get their OWN drinks. Appetizers did not all come out at the same time. Some Appetizers showed up after entrees were being brought out. Not everyone got their entrees at the same time. 1 entree was brought out about 15 mins before everyone else’s food. At this point, we asked to speak to a manager and made a complaint that customers from our party were having to go get their own drinks and that service was not up to par. Manager made excuses and gave NO APOLOGIES and no comps. Some people from our party were so dissatisfied they got up and left halfway during the meal. The manager ended up calling the cops when we made the comment that we were not going to pay the gratuity because it wasn’t deserved. This is not the way to treat customers. We literally could see our server cleaning up another table from leaving and a person from our party hollered asking the table “Hey I’m going to the bar does anyone need anything?” Someone from our table hollered back “yea grab all of us another round!” We know we said it loud enough for her to hear us and she still never came over to the table! That manager nor server were not professional in any way and needs to be fired in my opinion. That female “manager” needs some 101 on customer service because we had every right to be complaining. After spending several HUNDRED dollars on food the service should have reflected that -and it DID NOT! This is how you lose customers, not keep them and they just lost a bunch. We will stick...

We went to the pozza grocery after leaving a ball tournament our son played in. We walked up and one of the 2 hostesses tells my husband it will only be about 15 min wait. We said ok and waited. While we were waiting several groups of 7 or more were seated before us, we were there before them and we only had 5 in our group. We get frustrated but still wait. Then another group of 7 that clearly came in after us got seated,so my husband asks the other hostess how much longer the wait was going to be bc we had waited well over our 15 min wait. She the proceeds to get an attitude with him. My husband then tells her we have seen several groups that didn't come in until after us got seated that had as many or more as us. She proceeds to be very rude and tells my husband that the other hostess told us 50-60min wait which was not the case at all and she stood and argued with my husband which in my opinion is very unprofessional. Needless to say we didn't even get past the hostess stand to be able to rate the food. A hostess sets the tone for the atmosphere. Would love to be able to rate this place based on food but just didn't get that far. Maybe she was having a bad day and your experience will be...

Do not RECOMMEND!! Went in with a party of 14 and all 14 of us will never return. We received our first round of drinks promptly. As we were done with the first round we waited and waited on the second round and most of us went to the bar and got our own drinks because the sever would not bring them to us. Took 2 hours to receive our food. Some of it was burnt, some of it under cooked and the rest was below average. We tried to speak to the manager about it and the manager was very rude. Basically told us to deal with it. Upon leaving they charged us individually a 16 percent gratuity for the service and we told them that we would pay for the food and the drinks but would not pay the gratuity because of the terrible service and food. They said we would pay the gratuity or they would call the police and they did. We would have left a great tip if the service and food had been better. Had to argue with the police over it. We ended up paying all of it just to hold the peace. We will never return. Turned into an awful night...
