Harold's Bar-B-Q & Catering — Restaurant in Corning

This place is like 'going home' for dinner! We ate lunch; I had the chicken fried steak with smashed potatoes and the absolute best onion rings! The meal came with plenty of gravy and big portions.

My friend had the shrimp and fries. Huge portions, so much so she couldn't finish all of the meal.

Desert was the cobbler and ice cream. We agrees the cherry cobbler was the best.

The food is awesome, but the atmosphere is the real reason you want to try this place. Linden, the owner, sat down at the table with us and we had some great conversation. He also said 'hi' to all the customers and sat down with some others.

Where do you ever see a business owner have conversation with the customers like he's known them for decades? You don't. But you do at Harold's!

I am so happy I stopped. Great place supports vet. The owner is a retired CDL driver. And there signs are awesome. Come and see for yourself. You will know when you see them. Great people. God bless them all. Also the food was amazing. Great BBQ. Hands down!!!!

I re editing this message, I had wrote it before I left and what had happen to me was so wonderful. The owner cam out and talked to me shook my had and gave me a hat. Been to lot of place to eat. Being truck driver myself. And I have never been treated with so much honor. I will be bring my family down there. About a 3h drive but so worth it. Thanks again. Oh by the way the wait staff are the best ever....

So Koa (my dog) and I were making a right hand turn through Corning, Arkansas last month and there was a gentleman standing in the middle of the road! We weren't certain as to what he be doing there as he didn't appear to be wanting to continue across the street. We cautiously approached him and he flagged us down and proceeded to hand us a bag with a full pack lunch in it from his restaurant!! I couldn't believe this pure act of kindness and wanting to give back to those whom be a cog in keeping things moving (transport).
