Update: The owner messaged me privately and said he would call the following day. Four months later still no call. It’s safe to say, I would not recommend or return.

Let’s start with the good: the Brussels sprouts were delicious, the hot sauce was good, the honey BBQ sauce was good.

The bad: arriving at 6:15p, with live music, with other seating available (even tho they were basically full- there were other tables available) they sit us directly in front of the speaker. If you ask for a glass for your 12oz beer, they give you an 8 oz glass. The garlic Parmesan wing sauce is melted garlic butter with a side of wings, the sauce doesn’t even stick to the wings. While the live music was playing, they continued to have the jukebox on. To which I commented on to the artist, and his response is “yeah, I have a little competition, don’t I.” So he turns his volume up, mind you we are sitting within reach of the speaker, thanks for making OUR problem worse.

Doubtful that any of the employees or owner will see this, or if they even care. But I will NEVER return. Upon mentioning all of the above to the server, offered NO CONCESSIONS. Not sure anyone in this place has any inkling of...

The stars are for the taste of the food and the location from my grandparents. We started coming here more often when we visit because my family has come for decades and has good memories there but we won’t be coming back as often because of our visit last night. Came in with 8 people with no reservation expecting a wait time but the host gasped when she heard our number and said “nope, no room. No room in the inn.” And shook her head as we had no choice but to walk back out. Minutes before I had checked the deck space for my dad and said I didn’t see anyone on it so we could sit outside. (Not sure if it was being renovated or they just weren’t utilizing their space) we love this place normally but were so disappointed with the hostess. We would’ve completely understood had she communicated well and given a wait time or explained the situation better.

*upon checking the Facebook page, it’s clear the deck was open...

Once again, I found an amazing small business restaurant to enjoy some amazing food. When we arrived, it was between lunch and dinner. We were the only ones at the tavern for most of the time. We were seated quickly with our drink order taken. We ordered Mozzarella sticks, but you could taste this difference right away. The cheese is breaded on sight, so the flavor was outstanding. I ordered chicken Parmigiano, and my husband ordered the sandwich version of the same thing. The chicken was not only breaded there, but you could taste the chicken above the breading. We ordered a raspberry and lemon swirl cheesecake. It was delicious, and the flavors were well done. Looking forward to going...

We were there at an "off time"...2:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. Sat out on the deck. Beautiful view! Only one other couple joined us on the deck...so it was quiet...nice breeze. Perfect. Food was excellent! Like EXCELLENT! Hamburgers are cooked precisely the way you request. I opted for the onion rings ($3 upcharge) instead of the free chips or the French fries ($2 upcharge). Husband ordered the "bangers and mashed". Yep...mashed potatoes with 3 links of sausage covered in brown gravy. An excellent choice for a late lunch. Nothing beats a little "hole in the wall" that makes you feel welcome...AND has fantastic food. A win/win!

I went here for lunch on a Sunday and it was very busy. I tried the Texas Burger with fries, my wife had Fish and Chips, and my son had the Kid's Waffles and Potato Cakes. The burger was great, cooked medium, my wife really liked the fish, and the waffles were enough to fill up my little guy. The fries needed some salt and pepper, and the potato cakes were a little on the greasy side for our liking. Overall, good food for around $15 each. Happy we tried it.
