Crispy Chicken Kitchen — Restaurant in Corona

I've passed this place a few times and decided to try it. We ordered the five piece wings & fries and an order of boneless wings. I thought it would be a full wing, but it is only wing pieces. I waited about 20 mins, which wasn't a problem because I saw prior reviews that it may take a bit longer. There was a decent number of people coming in. I realized that they were regulars or had been here before because many had called in their orders. (Something I will do the next time.)

There is ample table seating inside, and there was a table outside. Parking is a little tight, but there are also a few parking spaces on the street. The restaurant is located right next to the drive-thru dairy mart (Alta Dena Dairy). You can only enter the one-way lot from Main Street. The interior is pretty basic but comfortable. Music was playing, and the atmosphere was chill.

The boneless wings were tossed in BBQ sauce and were a little crunchy but decent. The wings were ok but could have used a bit more seasoning. Next time, I'll try another flavor. The fries: we had regular & waffle fries. The regular fries could have been cooked just a minute or too longer together make them crispy on the outside but still soft on the inside. (I made sure to ventilate the take home container so they wouldn't get soggy.)

On the other hand, the waffle fries could have been really good but they were cooked wayyyy too long! Maybe if they were a bit thicker it would be okay, but since these were thin,they don't need to be cooked as long. But the seasoning on the waffle fries was really good! This was my 1st time eating here. The food was hot & very fresh I must admit. The chicken tasted great but the fish tasted like nothing at all, no seasonings but a little parsley sprinkled on top. I got the 2 fish & chips & a 2 piece chicken. They must have given me about only 10 fries with my order if that. The fish did taste good once I dipped it in the ranch & hot sauce. Make sure you ask for sauce, the young lady did not offer me any sauce. Their ranch is really good like how wingstop’s ranch is. If you eat here be prepared to wait long like at least 40-50 minutes, as I said the food was very hot & fresh. So hot that the lady that handed me my food bags told me to keep my to go boxes open so my food won’t get soggy.. & this is what they were telling all their customers from what I saw. I never had a restaurant tell me this but I did also understand because I absolutely did not want soggy food so I kept my boxes open. The pricing is okay, what I would consider normal pricing for chicken places. Lastly, one thing that pissed me off was that the young lady never gave me my soda that I ordered when she gave me my bags of food. I was so mad once I realized but I had already driven away plus I had my babies with me so it would be too much of an inconvenience to drive all the way back & get back out my car.

To sum it up: The wait is Long. Food was very fresh. Chicken tasted amazing but Fish not so good w. no seasoning & the breaded fries were good but you get a very small portion. Make sure to check your order & that they give you all that you paid for & ask for the sauces (hot sauce,...

I didn't even eat here, and I'm giving it a 1 star. I walked in the door, up to the counter, just to take a look at the menu. I saw 3 people inside waiting at tables but with no food. 2 more came in but we're Uber Eats drivers asking for orders. Gentleman at the counter didn't even greet me. First unwritten rule of any business, greet your customers. A man & his wife asked how much longer for their food & said they'd been waiting over 20mins. So I knew I'd have a long wait time if I ordered. When answering the couple, the gentleman behind the counter became very defensive & was arguing with the couple. Was he going to treat me the same? NEW #4 Based on their comment back (below) stating I misunderstood the situation, not sure there's anything to be misunderstood when you clearly see the Worker being defensive (to put it nicely) and a calm Customer just asking where there food was. If you think this behavior of your workers is acceptable under any circumstances, you might be in the wrong business. Like I said, I didn't even order here & they get a 1 star.
