Granite Place Cafe — Restaurant in Corona

I've driven past this place countless times! Today is my first visit and I feel like I just discovered a new favorite. It appears from other reviews on this place that it's a cherished gem of a deli from the locals here in riverside/corona.

First of all the place when walking in is clean, warm, and inviting!

The man behind the counter (Mr Kim I presume) welcomed me in with a smile and took my order. The "Cool Twist" in Soon K.'s picture is what brought me here as it looked delicious.

Basically a spruced up egg salad prepared with a little love in a lettuce wrap and cut cucumbers and carrot on the side. Some ritz crackers for good measure ;)

The taste was very good and fresh. I recommend this...

Only 3 stars because the sandwiches are not a good value to the cost. I went twice. Had an Italian sub the first time and BLT the next. They put hardly any meat in the sandwich. The BLT was literally only enough bacon so that there was one layer of bacon across the sourdough sliced bread. So maybe 2, no more than 3 pieces of bacon. The Italian sub was similar. They were tasty, the mix of Italian dressing they put in their sandwich’s was nice, but no Value at all. My friend ordered a pastrami and they serve it cut in half. He took the pastrami meat out of one of the half’s and added it to the other half so that he had the proper amount of meat in at least half...

Wow this is a good place to have a sandwich. I was gettiny car serviced at genuine tec got hungry and asked if there is a place to eat within walking distance the girl at front desk suggest this sandwich shop.

I am pleasantly surprised it's a great place to sit and enjoy a good sandwich in a quaint environment. Theses small places are great when you feel tired of the same ol same big name...
