IHOP — Restaurant in Corona

Food has never been that great for me, I’ve only ever been to ihop with family never have gone for myself cause it’s not that great food in my opinion. Staff is always professional when I go. Honestly just writing this review to talk about the new chicken sandwich. I was just going to review the new chicken sandwich but didn’t want that to seem like the overall review. Anyways I would not try the chicken sandwich i don’t know wether to be insulted or embarrassed for them but basically what I got was like a chicken patty cut in half not a chicken tender a chicken patty cut in half the length of the bread was longer than the chicken. I honestly got kind of mad my dad brought it for me and I kinda wanted to call the restaurant and ask for a refund. I seriously ripped my sandwich the best I could in half cause there was two big pieces of chicken in there I figured I could make it seem like it’s not an issue but there was so much bread like I say i don’t know if I should be embarrassed for them. It’s like it’s a new sandwich maybe they don’t know what they’re doing. If you think it’s gonna be like those crispy chicken sandwiches from like Burger King you’re wrong the chicken doesn’t stretch across the whole bread. Like really? Never going back there for a chicken sandwich. As I mentioned there food isn’t even that good. Fries were like really stale too. I mean there breakfast is good but I don’t find much flavor in there other food. They are a good pancake place...

Ordered online and they made me wait 20 mins went back and forth from the front to the kitchen asked for my name and couldn’t find my order, after she said she needed to package it. Didn’t even check the receipts on the counter. After 20 mins she decided to go check the counters for pickups which are right outside gave it to me and didn’t even apologize for making me wait while the food was there all that time. I Asked for the order to be cancelled and it took another 15 mins. Host said there was no manager and I had to cancelled online! and out of nowhere he shows. The manager stated processed a cancellation when I asked for confirmation didn’t even have one and offered cash refund. More disturbing can’t be. He thought I was going to take the food so it seemed like he canceled the order which he didn’t. The disrespect and shady behavior is beyond everything. The sad part was that another worker asked me as she was opening the container if I was been helped and didn’t even bother to check either. All the workers have the worse attitude, if I have to way that’s my problem. The receipt was always there to verify. Terrible ! It was my first time on an ihop in a while never again. Not to mentioned when you walk in it’s smells like restrooms...

I’m really disappointed from this place , for the first time on 15 years , I didn’t like the service, plates take too long to be on table , when the server took the order he forget one plate , not just that at the end me my friend we split our bill in two the guy charge twice on each card total a mess the manager don’t have an explanation they couldn’t figure out at that moment they cancel the transaction start over took other about 20-30 minutes to resolve that problem after they gives us bill with not any apologize or I’m sorry for conflict and the worst on my bank account l have two charge for the same amount still “ Pending “
