I don't have many complaints. Decently maintained property with a lovely courtyard area. Weird layout with only one elevator but at least there is one! Actively being renovated right now, no gym and the lobby is moved. Breakfast is served in a room on the first floor it's a bit unusual but it does work. Mostly reheated frozen stuff, pre made cheese omelets, paper thin pre cooked bacon, frozen sausage patties, bread, muffins, once instant scrambled egg (I think the liquid carton kind) apple cranberry and orange juice in a machine, a few kinds of cereal and milk, coffee and tea. Plenty of ice, the cube ice and no bottle refill station but not really a deal breaker for me. Families did use the spa as a pool since it was so cold but honestly I had no desire to run to my room wet in a wet towel at 48⁰f anyway. Dogs welcome for $15 per day. 20 day stay limit. The area does feel a bit unsafe, there's people outside 24/7. It is directly on the highway exit, there is traffic all hours of the day so if you're sensitive bring ear plugs. The rooms are massive, at least the king suite is. It even has a second sink. Mini fridge with mini freezer flap that works. Bathroom is small but has the single biggest bathtub I've ever seen outside the Poconos. It was clean, everything was clean but there is a nick in the tub enamel. Walking distance to plenty of places to eat, get gas, drinks etc. Half a mile from a mini Walmart, so you won't be hungry since the microwave works well too. Bed is decent, clean sheets and bedding, clean property for the most part. I've had minimal staff interactions but they were very nice when I checked in. I wouldn't pay extra for breakfast but it isn't just bread at least. Oh there's a waffle station. No sugar free syrup. There's absolutely gorgeous skyline views from the second story, of the mountains if you think that's a thing. Plenty of parking, feels dubious but there's a police patrol on the block a few times an hour it seems, likely due to it being parallel to the highway exit. Oh I do not recommend the washer and dryers here. They are front loaders that are clearly never cleaned and are left closed.. they smell like mildew and two have visible rings on the seals. Hopefully that's part of the renovation, a good professional machine clean and service. The TV is confusing at best, but it does get the weather, news, some kids channels it seems. Overall, it's a decent place for a few days on a trip, or during a visit. Good value for the space, decent enough.

Booked this place based on positive reviews, location, and having breakfast. We got in a little late and only had a couple hours sleep the night befor...so we were extremely tired. The room was hot 94 outside but quickly cooled off with the AC. We decided to hit the pool and hot tub before it closed. Pool seemed freezing but attributed to the hot air outside. The hot tub was a little warmer but was expecting to be warmer. There was a film of dirt in the layer of bubbles, so we left to go shower and then sleep. When we woke up my wife said she felt like something but her leg and had a red spot. We went for breakfast which was OK. Coffee was watered down and ran out. The waffle batter ran out and I tried to inform the worker the batter was empty. She pointed to the little refrigerator and said the butter was inside. I said no butter...batter for waffles. She just looked at me. I gave up. We went back to our room and my wife noticed some blood on the sheets on my side and asked if I had hurt myself. I said no but started looking at the sheets and noticed another blood stain. Then another...but upon closer inspection this wasn't a blood stain.. it was a bug...a tick maybe? Not sure. Checked out and advised of the blood and bug but the clerk didn't seem to care. I showed her pics, but what struck me she didn't seem surprised or even offer an apology. She said I would have to talk to the manager. OK I said. She said she's not there. I asked her to call me and when she would be working. "Maybe tomorrow or Monday." No clue. No phone call. Shocking. Called several times over several days. Manager is not in office but will let them know. Crickets. Steer clear unless poor service, blood stains and bed bugs are your thing.

This location want you to take 1 minute showers, that's the actual time the light stay on on the bathroom, the sensor will turn off the light if does not detect movement, solution? Shower with curtain open that way the light will stay on for the duration of you bath or grooming. I understand they want to save energy and resources but come on, to the point where they do not have fridges or microwaves on the rooms, they have the fixtures to place them on each room but not any equipment, nor bags on the trash buckets at the room. I know for a fact because i have stayed here more than 3 times because of work, and every single time I never had either a fridge or microwave, perhaps thats the treatment workers on CLC get. If I ever have to be on this area on personal business definitively will never stay here. The front desk was a bit rude and i didn't felt welcomed at this location. About thw breakfast, I have nothing to say about it since I didn't went there.

Having a great deal of experience with this location, and the entirety of the Best Western brand, may I say the following; this property is by far one of the most exceptional locations within the portfolio.

Located near the heart of one of the Inland Empire's most populous cities, the property straddles the perfect line between key freeways, the cities of Los Angeles and Riverside, and the necessary distance away from all of it, something that renders the property a prime center for rejuvenation whilst simultaneously allowing for supreme ease of commute (a key benefit for those of us here on business or vacation).

The staff are knowledgeable, courteous, charming, professional, and kind, indeed you can tell from your very first interactions with them that they not only care about the hotel, but also about their guests. The lobby is open and welcoming, providing free tea, coffee and water, as well as a microwave for guests. The front desk is staffed at all hours, however the lobby does close at 11:00 PM, thereafter manned by a Night Auditor via service window, opening again at 6:30 AM.

The building itself is a well apportioned, and modest property, featuring; centrally located parking, a pool (which is open between the hours of 10:30 AM and 10:00 PM everyday), a vending machine area, a coin operated laundry facility (open to guests 24-7 via keycard), and several ice machines.

The hotel itself provides a continental breakfast between the hours of 6:30 AM and 9:30 AM, featuring; various pastries, yogurts, cereals, and breads, as well as; coffee, milk, almond milk, half and half, apple juice, orange juice, waters, self cook waffles, boiled eggs, warm, freshly baked biscuits, and delicious sausage gravy, in addition to several gluten free options. The dining room is located on the first floor, next to the Night Auditor's window, down a small hallway and to your left, dining is not assigned, and is located centrally to the room with all food stuffs framing the space around tables present. The dining space is manned by a staff member who periodically replenishes food, and who is always available to guests who need assistance.

The property provides high speed WiFi to all guests free of charge.

Rooms vary by size, of course, with queens typically containing a semi-open floor plan (work, bed, and vanity area in a functionally open space, with toilet and bathing area separated into another room), contemporary print-canvass artwork, mid-century inspired furniture, and plenty of walking space. All rooms are fitted with brand toiletries, as well as moderately sized flat screen TV's (with basic cable), a refrigerator, and a microwave. All bathrooms are outfitted with toilet and tub/shower combo, unless ADA specialized. Double queens remain the same, simply with slightly more square footage and two beds, whilst kings may vary slightly in layout, causing differentiations in where vanity and closet space is located, as well as how open the space feels. There are no suites or in-room jacuzzis on the property.

Cleaning and maintenance staff are attentive, kind, warm, and friendly. The property is in good condition.

Overall, and in nuance, I would highly recommend the Best Western in Corona, it's relaxed and dependable atmosphere, and it's rejuvenating and...

Dear General Manager,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Bilal, a handicapped individual requiring certain accommodations to ensure my comfort. I am writing to bring to your attention several issues I encountered during my recent stay at your property, Best Western Corona Hotel & Suites.

Room Placement: My room was located near the freeway and street, which resulted in an extremely loud environment, making it difficult for me to rest.

Noise Disturbance: Throughout the night, neighbors were frequently in and out of their rooms every 5-10 minutes to smoke cigarettes and possibly marijuana. Their loud and inconsiderate behavior disrupted my sleep multiple times, waking me up at least six times during the night. I arrived at the hotel at midnight and needed rest that I could not get due to these disturbances.

Water Issues: The water pressure in the tub and shower was very low and inconsistent. Additionally, the water coming out of the sink in the foyer/closet area had a very unpleasant smell.

While there were positive aspects of my stay, such as the reasonable price, convenient location, wood floors, a moderately comfortable bed, and clean room and common areas, the negative experiences severely impacted my overall stay.

I spoke with the acting manager on duty, Karen, who unfortunately did not provide a satisfactory remedy or compensation for the issues I faced. She referred me to an email but did not provide the direct contact information for the general manager, Nick.

As a guest who has specific needs due to my disability, I am disappointed with the lack of consideration and accommodation during my stay. I would appreciate it if you could address these concerns and provide appropriate compensation for the inconvenience I experienced.

Thank you for your attention to this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Sincerely,

Bilal

Update:

After 72+ hours following my checkout, I finally spoke to the general manager, Nick. He informed me that he could not provide partial reimbursement or any form of immediate compensation. Instead, he offered a 50% discount on my next stay at the hotel, but only if I removed this review.

As you can see, I made my decision not to remove the review. This is not because of pride, but to teach this property owner and management a lesson and to hopefully save the next person from making the same mistake I made. I pay valuable consideration to stay at a somewhat decent place, but my experience was akin to a true Motel 6 experience, possibly even worse. This gesture does not address the discomfort and inconvenience I endured during my stay.

You’re better off spending the same or less money at...
