This place is amazing! The atmosphere is very nice and relaxing. The seating is very comfortable. The food is phenomenal!

I went with the Pessimist red wine blend, which I enjoyed. My husband tried the "Mexican Gothic", which not only looked good, but tasted very good too. We tried the Maryland Crabcakes for an appetizer. It had great flavors with the perfect sauce complimenting it.

I tried the Raspberry Chipotle Salmon. I normally don't order salmon at restaurants, but I was not disappointed. The flavors worked amazingly together. The salmon was cooked perfectly. My husband got the Tournedo a la Bordelaise rare, and it just melted in our mouths. It came with very well seasoned fries and a truffle dip that was delicious.

Normally, we don't get desserts when we eat out, but we tried the Banana Bread Foster. It was definitely a dish to share and it was so good. Our waitress did inform us that it was going to take a bit, as they do everything homemade. It was very well worth it. Overall, highly recommend for a nice romantic date night. We will definitely...

Sub-average food at best, with a couple wine pairings (wild when you market yourself as a wine bar). Food is overpriced for the quality, and the service was not good. Our waiter, while perfectly nice, was in way over his head. He couldn’t keep track of his tables, was unable to remember small things, and after spilling some wine, didn’t clean up himself. When we asked for seltzer, he brought us a full bottle and charged us $9 for it.

Food was not great, a lot of fried appetizers which is par for the course in Corpus Christi. The garden salad looked like it came out of a bag. The scallops were bland, the duck had a ridiculously tiny portion, and the Mussels were far too salty. I would say, the only thing that was reasonably good was the burger.

Honestly, as I write this, I want to drop the review down even further to 2 stars. I would give this place a pass, or give it at least another six months to figure itself out. If it...

Truly a gem and rarity in corpus!! Whoever created the menu, knows their flavor pairings! From Appetizers, the warm spinach salad (AMAZING), to the airline chicken (also fantastic) DELICIOUS!! Zero complaints, zero need for improvement! I love a good FRESH cucumber martini, and their clarified cucumber martini was the best one I’ve ever had! I also had The Handmaids Tale and it was so delicious and fresh!

My husband is a big old fashion fan and picky at that. He had zero complaints on their old fashion! It was THAT good!
