Hermanos Solis #2 — Restaurant in Corpus Christi

My boyfriend decided to try this place for the first time because i wanted enchiladas so so bad and lagos de jalisco was closed so he decided to try this place thinking it might be GREAT!! We never try new places because were scared they might be bad!! Well were we right!! As soon as my enchiladas got home they looked great from the outside i was so hungry i did not pay attention i just tore into them i noticed They had a potted meat texture!! I didn't pay anymind till i almost ate a whole enchilada!! The meat in the inside was still red!! 😷😷 i wasnt going to make my boyfriend walk back to show themwe live blocks away!!😞 so i decided to not complain and eat the charro beans i ordered they were okay just needed some salt they didnt have much flavor just of chicharones kinda watery but i was so hungry i ate my rice beans and tortillas were great!! I hope this doesnt happen to anyone else!! I ended up getting diareah and i threw up in my trash can as well!! I wish it was so much better!! I'm rating this based on my dish served. It was nothing short of disgusting. The food was below average. The chicken didn't appear to be fresh and it contained chunky red tomatoes, an ingredient I've never seen on salsa Verde enchiladas. They had two flavors going on which left me a bit confused-is chicken enchiladas o Pollo en salsa?! For the topping it had a smudge dried on salsa verde with cheese. Overall the plate was a flat 0. I'm giving two star for good customer service. It was upsetting for the price. The only thing I enjoyed off this plate were the beans. The tortillas were on the thick side for me. If you can find somewhere else to eat please pass this little restaurant up. One waitress took our drink order then went and sat down to play on her phone. About 10 mins later the second waitress came asking what our drink order was. The food is a joke. If you want your food done a certain way you might as well forget it they won't do it then stand there staring at you when you tell them they did it wrong. The food tastes nasty I'm not sure how someone doesn't know how to cook canned beans and chips that I'm sure come in a bag but they definitely did it.
