This place is a hidden gem. I ordered the lunch special of turkey and dressing with mashed potatoes ( a first for me). I have NEVER eaten both, since I prefer dressing , that is always what I have. I am super picky about my dressing . My southern mom taught me how to make it. This one was as close as it could be , moist , very good seasoning , did not even need gravy , but it had it. The turkey was very moist , even the white meat , it just fell apart. The mashed potatoes while good were a little underseasoned, and they could have used ?? Seasoning and maybe a little milk or cream added in. I did get some butter on the side for my roll ( butter was brushed on top), and the butter was melted , so I added some to my potatoes . It was delicious , the rolls were good. I would have liked a pat of butter for the inside. The green beans were good, although I am not a fan of tomatoes in my green beans , nothing else, or a touch of bacon would have been better. The people, including Joseph, who came out front were all super nice. It has just a few tables , so there's not much on the atmosphere . There were quite a few to go orders , so that must be why our food was a little slow coming out , I guess if we were in a hurry, we could call order ahead to eat there? I'm not sure. My husband had the chicken , feta, and spinach sandwich on Cibatta, and he loved it. He said he would eat even without the chicken. On the hunt for the best turkey and dressing plates in Corpus Christi, this is restaurant #3 I've visited and by far the best! Tuesdays is when they have their turkey plate specials and the turkey was juicy and tender. The cornbread dressing was yummy. The green beans and mashed potatoes were tasty. Everything on the plate almost felt like my mom/grandma made it. Overall the meal I'd give it 9 out of 10. Just needed a little extra flavor/seasoning (salt) to put it over the top. The service was amazing they were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was cute, homey and modern my only complaint it was tight. The restaurant got super packed when we were about to leave.
