Okay my wife and I drove from Rockport to try this place. I myself was not disappointed. The place may be small and the buffet may not be some huge variety like other places. But what they have is good'Ol southern cooking. It is a working man's dream lunch establishment. Mac and cheese was great. The Dorito casserole was most excellent. Chicken tenders very good. Mashed taters and gravy better than most. Price per person is fair. They got four out of five stars because there was no desert table. Tried this place for the first time today as per a friend's recommendation. They have an all you can eat buffet which had the best tasting crunchy fresh catfish, hot off the kitchen as part of the buffet. The sweet tea was great! If you enjoy eating homemade comfort food, this is something you definitely want to try. I can't recommend just one thing because everything was great! It gets pretty packed with people, but we had no problem finding a place to sit. People are constantly coming and going, which suggests just how good their food is. First time here their buffet had catfish, chicken fried steak and enchiladas. Mashed potatoes, okra, rice, green beans, gravy, and beans. All homemade it was all excellent. Wow the best food in corpus christi but theyre only open monday thru friday from 11am to 2pm. Definitely recommend and Definitely will be back.

This has been my 5th visit and tried different things on their buffet by day. This food is home cooked and awesome they have great desserts as well. You must come try the food here and I guarantee you will love it and be a regular. But they're only open from 11am to 2pm Monday thru Friday so make some time for lunch. ...
