Well, this is the first time we ate there and definitely will be the last we couldn’t even eat the food. My kids ordered the shrimp and lobster sauce that did not get that. There was some shrimp in there, but there was also pork in there which does not go and shrimp and lost your sauce, and there was no sauce to it. It’s not made with all onions and cabbage. We also ordered a combination. Chow mein did not get that either. We got a combination, broccoli and could not eat it it had so much vinegar or something cause it was completely sour and bad. The only thing we could eat was the white rice. I brought home the soup so I can add seasoning to it cause it was so bland The teriyaki beef on and stick wasn’t bad that was OK and so was the steam dumplings. We ordered the beef fried rice, bland as well and we ordered the chicken curry. The curry sauce was watered down. Nasty didn’t even taste like curry to think I spent all this money for my children to go out and have dinner Never ever again I’m sitting here praying to God that we don’t get food poisoning and end up in the ER, but if we do believe me, I will let you all know. Don’t go there. Don’t waste your money your time. I don’t even know how they’re still open and in business The dining room was dead, empty no customers whatsoever should’ve been my first clue and it’s obvious they don’t pay attention to their AAC system because all the vents were full of dust and stuff and all around the ceiling near it. They need to do something with their AC unit and clean it so it makes me wonder what the rest of the...
Read moreDad and I stopped by after lunch rush. First impressions aren't great. The building is a bit shabby, but I've dealt with worse. We got the buffet, which is on the small side. It consisted of a few stir fry dishes, fried rice, and some weird chicken dish that tasted 'off'. I don't know for certain that it was bad, but if it had come out of my own kitchen, I would have thrown it away. The other items looked sad. They had been sitting around long enough to start cooking themselves to the steam table pans. The fried rice that wasn't dehydrated and stuck to the bottom wasn't bad. Same thing with some lo mein. I know I will ever go back, and I wouldn't recommend anyone stopping by either, unless something drastic changes. I can tolerate a lot, and surprisingly enough I didn't get sick or die; but giving this place anything other than a single star would be disrespectful to anyone reading these reviews.
Maybe it was timing, the items on the buffet were nowhere near fresh. They did bring out some eggrolls, and they weren't awful. The hostess/waitress was nice and attentive, but if she would have stirred the buffet once or twice, the baked-on-ness of some of the dishes could have been taken care of.
I suspect that other bad experiences here are related...
Read moreI'm going to start by saying the restaurant doesn't have drink cups or ice. Not sure what's up with that. You choose from bottled Sodas in a cooler. There is no table service, so your food comes in carry out containers and you sit wherever. The restaurant is dated and not well lit. There doesn't seem to be properly functioning air conditioning - that, or they don't want the temperature too low. In any case, it was a little warm in there. We counted the holes in the moth-eaten curtains while we waited. To be honest, I became increasingly nervous about the food as I looked around, and it's a shame because the food itself was good. The egg rolls were terrific, and the General Tsao's chicken was nice and spicy. The war su gai fell a little flat for me, but very few restaurants do that dish justice. I hope whatever is going on with the building itself is remedied soon, because all in all, the food...
