I had posted a review about getting charged twice and respectively, I had the right to be upset. After sharing a review I did get a message asking for more info. The messages were short and insisted that I dig deeper and give them more info. Honestly, not worth my time at all so I just stopped responding.
I did get a message today and a screenshot of an email to the credit card processor. And I was totally in the wrong and my husband had used his CC the day before. I felt horrible and apologized immediately. Even with that I didn't get a reply back. Instead, they did a screenshot of our conversation (-minus my apology) and posted it publicly on my review. Obviously, they could care less about customer service. I made a mistake and apologized, I took down my other reviews about the duplicate charge but my husband and I will never go back. It's likely it won't ever impact their sales but I'm just over dealing with the "they're to good and don't have time for you" attitude that they have had since day 1. Just read the reviews, they clearly think they have the right to treat people like garbage. P.S. Well I figured out today why I have never stepped foot in Fredericks cafe before today.. our friends from Indy are in town with their kiddos and we decided to meet up for lunch and then tour Corydon. They wanted to eat somewhere local and since we were already on the square we chose Frederick’s since we hadn’t eaten there either. First, they sat us down and made our older kids sit across from us because their couldn’t be more than 7 at a table, then they made an adult go over there. If that wasn’t enough, they didn’t want the kids to have menus. So, when one got up to walk over to our table to read a menu the manager or owner said very rude and loud that we needed to keep our kids in their seats now because her waitresses don’t need to be tripping over kids. Mind you there were 7 kiddos but they were all in their seat except for one that had come to her mom to read the menu. When our friend explained that the lady became extremely rude and we decided to leave. Bottom line..don’t waste your money at such a rude establishment ! Read moreI wouldnt recommend this place to anyone. The waitress was so rude. We went in there were two men sitting at the bar and 3 tables. We were waiting 15 minutes to be seated finally i went to the bar where the two men were sitting to find a server she said nasty with a disguated look on her face just wait and ill look. So i stood waiting thinking she possibly was over whelmed since ahe was the only person i saw. After another 5 min she walked back up to my mother and i and said just sit down where ever and itll be a while we will get to you when we do. So we said okay and left. She was sooo rude and the look we were given was like we are juat going to have to wait until when ever someone could get to us.
