I recently had the pleasure of visiting Moongoat Coffee, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! From the moment I walked through the door, I was greeted with warm smiles and impeccable service that truly made me feel welcome.
The star of the show, of course, was the coffee. I ordered both the Coffee Latte and the Churro Latte, and they were nothing short of exceptional. The Coffee Latte had a rich and smooth flavor, perfectly balanced with just the right amount of espresso and steamed milk. It was a comforting and invigorating start to my day.
Now, let's talk about the Churro Latte. Oh, my taste buds were in heaven! The combination of the aromatic coffee and the delectable hints of cinnamon and caramel made for a truly unique and indulgent experience. It felt like sipping on a churro in liquid form! I couldn't get enough of it.
Beyond the incredible beverages, the atmosphere at Moongoat Coffee was cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating arrangements and a pleasant ambiance. It was the perfect spot to relax, catch up with a friend, or simply enjoy some quality "me" time.
What truly sets Moongoat Coffee apart, though, is the exceptional service provided by the staff. The baristas were friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about their craft. They took the time to explain the menu, answer all my questions, and even offered recommendations based on my preferences. Their attention to detail and genuine enthusiasm for their work made the entire experience that much more enjoyable.
I highly recommend paying a visit to Moongoat Coffee. Whether you're a coffee aficionado or simply looking for a cozy spot to unwind, this place has it all. With their outstanding service, delicious coffee options like the Coffee Latte and Churro Latte, and inviting ambiance, Moongoat Coffee is a hidden gem that deserves all the recognition. I can't wait to return for another exceptional...
Read moreAs a long time patron of Moongoat coffee in Laguna Beach, I happened to be in Costa Mesa when I decided to go to one of my favorite coffee shops on May 28 around 1 pm. . (Dine in) While I ordered my usual matcha with strawberry foam, my best friend ordered the same and a slice of banana bread. Everything was great but we soon regretted our decision to go to this location. When my friend heard her order being called, she picked up a cup; unfortunately because her name sounded similar to the one being called, she accidentally took the wrong order. Upon realizing her honest mistake, she immediately went to the young barista (a young lady) and apologized profusely. To our dismay, the girl appeared irritated, made a rude remark and was not happy. (Mind you it was not busy). We then waited for the banana bread when the same girl looked at us and in an irritated tone said âwhat are you all waiting for?â We said âour banana breadâ after we already paid. The barista then remarked again to our surprise having not been told before âitâs sold out. Do you want a refund or something else?â And then brushed us off to the other barista, a young man who was very kind. Needless to say, we will not be returning and would like an explanation from the store or company if this sales clerk is having personal issues or the reason behind her rude behavior. I am certain this is not the way your company would like to be...
Read moreThe coffee is wonderful. You can tell itâs quality-roasted, specialty coffee. I went multiple times and got cold brew, americano, and drip. 3 different ways of brewing and all delicious. If you get the drip in one of their âfor hereâ mugs, you get a dollar off your next refillâpretty sweet. I did not try the food, but looks good.
The space is large with lots of seating available. Staff is kind and helpful. Decently busy on a Saturday morning.
Now my only bone to pick: they donât offer wifi on the weekend. Only on the weekend. I am trying to come at this from a very understanding perspective, but I am nonetheless perplexed. Maybe they just donât have the bandwidth, and thatâs fair. Another explanation could be that they have high customer volume on the weekends and try to discourage customers from staying extended hours with the purchase of a single $5 beverage. Maybe, but that seems kind of pointless, since many people just hotspot internet connectivity to their laptops anyways. Others sit reading books for hours. Itâs especially strange to me that they disable their wifi access on the weekend (from what I understand). I am not a business owner, clearly.
All in all, they have great coffee....
