We live 0.2 miles away from this place, and because my daughter is vegan their veggie pho was a perfect choice for her at least twice a week. Last time when she stopped by she ordered 2 egg rolls for me, and that's it. The young guy, who is part of the ownership told her - for two egg rolls we are not going to charge you this time. It's not worth charging the card. She asked him if he was sure, as she felt uncomfortable leaving without paying. He confirmed it was okay, and the restaurant was nearly closing anyways. There was no mention of payment for them next time. It seems shady to manipulate a minor this way because this man intended to charge for these rolls the next time we made a purchase here but never intended to explain that to her. Today I went to pick up her phone order and the guy was trying to tell me, that I have to pay for a tea she never ordered, after I called my daughter she could only assume he wanted money for the rolls. Two rolls that they told her she would not be charged for. Of course I paid but also my two egg rolls that I ordered tonight were burned, hard and obviously not fresh, plus no sauce included. Was this revenge ? Or some sort of sick joke? Or was this just a true reflection of the restaurant and the people who work there. They have lost us as customers forever, and to anyone reading this review questioning if you should try here, go to Pho Saigon Pearl down the street. We will never ever go inside this little place again. We previously spent tons of money there for pho and this rude disrespect over 2 egg rolls is absolutely...

WOW!! We stopped here after checking reviews while we were in Costa Mesa and it did not disappoint!! The food was phenomenal, the staff were very friendly & helpful. Every thing we ordered, was made with very fresh ingredients, the flavor was out of this world good. We had the beef with broccoli, orange chicken, mango chicken & I can’t remember the name of the dish my husband got but it was so good as well!! The mango chicken is something I will crave for the rest of my life. It was fabulous. Everything exploded with flavor. They also have quite a few local, “regulars” who have found this gem. The portions were huge & our leftovers were just as good. We couldn’t even eat the food without exclaiming how good it was the entire time. Locally & family owned, this is a place you need to visit. We even stuck around after striking up conversations with the owners/few locals. I cannot express in words how good the mango...

Support this small family owned business! Very friendly and really good food! I've passed by so many times, but never stopped in. When I saw a post on next door I decided to give it a try. I'm glad I did! The owner, Bruce was so nice and it seemed like he knew everyone who came in! He remembered their regular orders the minute he saw them. That by itself is enough reason to return, but the food is another. I think they recently had to increase prices for obvious reasons, but they are still super reasonable. I've been looking for a place like this. I like the fact that they have pho' as well as popcorn chicken ordered the wonton soup and combination fried rice. The soup was really packed with wontons and the rice had way more meat than you get at most places. I was told that the egg rolls are off the chain! Our order got gobbled up so quickly that I didn't get photos so I guess I'll have to...

This is a hidden gem, and I am finally sharing it with everyone. The orange chicken has a light batter on it and crisped to perfection. The orange sauce has specs of orange, and has the perfect amount of sweet v. tangy, it will make your mouth water. The chicken lo mein (we get it with the garlic sauce) is amazing!! Not pictured but worth the splurge, the house fried rice. It has so much meat, it is totally worth it. For the kids and adults, you have to try the garlic fries. The number one item though is their Orange chicken. If you are in this area, you will not be disappointed.

The best home style Vietnamese food in Orange County imho… I stumbled this little gem a little less than 2 years ago. Since, it has been my go-to pho spot. You can taste just how fresh everything in and how little MSG they use if any. This is one of those places where they’ll never cut corners no matter how dire the situation becomes. Pho or Vermicelli will always hit the spot. A true home taste, if you’re ever in town or near Costa Mesa and want a “home-made” experience, don’t hesitate to drop by this spot!
