Last night my Girlfriend and I want for for dinner together. We ordered our food from the nice kid who works there. Then I'm guessing the guy who came in with a young child that he was the owner and goes behind the counter and decides he's going to help kid make our food. We'll he pats the child he brought with him on the head continously and then wipes his fingers across his nose getting snot all over his hand. So we ask him to wash his hands. We'll doesn't. The kid then has to ask him repeatedly to wash his hands. Needless to say he doesn't wash his hands, he just uses sanitizer. Then he goes back to making our food. I ask her if we should just get our money back and leave. We decide to get our food, big mistake. I have had diarrhea all day. I haven't been able to leave the bathroom. Yes it's definitely from there food. The only other thing I had consumed yesterday was a protien shake at 8 am. She has also had stomach issues all day. This isn't how you run a business, people's healths are seriously at risk, when you don't have proper hygiene. This why we have a health inspector for a reason. It makes me wonder what other health violations they might have that they are hiding that we as the public are unaware of. This not ok it's disgusting to say the least. If my stomach doesn't get better soon, I'm going to have to go to the ER for dehydration. Which I will be sending you a bill for. This is just disrespectful to the customer. I'll never eat at this...
Read more+JMJ Thursday 25 August 2022. Excellent first experience. The smell of garlic bread had my taste buds ready for a delicious meal. The couple behind the counter must be the owners. Very friendly and courteous letting those of us who were waiting know of an approximate wait time. Great being provided with freshly toasted garlic bread and a small bucket of spaghetti with sauce and added meatballs. Wow! And, speaking of meatballs those things are just a little larger than golf balls and very meaty. Yummy!! And, it was very kind of the man to provide me with a free bottle of soda. Looking forward to my next visit! 😊 I must add an edit. It is my habit to read reviews. Most posted here are amazing and honest. But what is even more impressive is the response of the owner to reviews that were honest but not favorable. Reimbursements made with offers to replace an order are rather extraordinary in these days and times. GOOD ON YOU!! One of my place of employment is going to host a potluck. Believe me, Owner (I am miserable at names and introducing myself) of this BY the Bucket, I will be placing an order in the next few weeks for Family Buckets of spaghetti and meatballs and garlic bread. Lastly, my meal is absolutely delicious! Spaghetti cooked to perfection (for me) with a delicious sauce that is chocked full of chopped tomatoes and diced bell peppers. Meatballs~yummy YES!! There is plenty left over for one more meal. Grateful for your...
Read moreToday I tried By the Bucket and I am so excited. I LOVE spaghetti and this place did not let me down. First, the food is very nicely priced. I ordered the Medium Bucket, Meatballs, Garlic Bread and Cheesecake. The pasta was well cooked and the sauce was a very nice surprise. I was worried about a plain marinara sauce…but this sauce had texture and was very tasty. It had full bodied flavor without a lot of acidity. The meatballs were so tender. They are better than any meatballs I have ever made. You could easily break them up with a fork and they added just the right flavors to my bowl of pasta. If you like garlic, you will like the garlic bread. Because it is wrapped in foil, it was nice and pull-apart soft when I got home. The butter, seasonings and garlic made it the perfect accompaniment…although it was almost gone by the time I dished out the pasta. Yum! Haven’t tried the cheesecake yet…I am too full. Finally, the young man who took and prepared my order was very sweet, professional and proficient at his job. I can’t wait to go back to the Cottonwood...
