Rodonna's Country Haus Restaurant and Village Motel — Restaurant in Cottonwood

I ordered bowl of soup 5.50, side of mushrooms 8.95, and a bacon cheese burger with fries 9.95, they came up with 36 dollars so the prices didn't match menu prices, they told me they were busy and would call me when my food was done never received a call so I called back they said my food was sitting there and they took my info down wrong, went down to pick up my food, the kids who was working the register was coughing the whole time instead of excusing himself he just turned his face to the food on the counter (my food) it was so cold and soggy that water was dripping from the bag that i thought something was leaking and the soup was a solid blob of sour smelling fish, that it was unbeatable, all of the staff looking at me like why am I even here completely uninviting that I didn't even feel comfortable about coming back to say anything just threw the food away and will never return in the future due to how uncomfortable the staff made me feel. I've had food from there that was slightly disappointing or not quite up to par but never this bad, that was one of the most awful experiences I've ever had...

Stopped on Sunday morning. It was packed. Katie seated me and Brandy got me my drink order right away, even though she was super busy. And she had a smile on her face that lit up the way place. I was waiting on a couple friends but I wanted to offer whenever she had time. Didn't take her long at all. I got my order in record time and my hash browns and homemade gravy is the best I've had in a long time. My friends showed up 45 minutes later and ordered 2 meatlovers omelettes. They were huge. .....we were treated like family by everyone that worked there, and our breakfast was so good. This is the place to go. And we will definitely be back. I wouldn't mind driving the 5 hours to get out of town and have a great meal and great service in a super neat place. It's a nice trip up to Cottonwood also. Check...

Rooms were great very clean and not expensive! And the guys said the food was awesome! They loved being able to eat a good meal and just walk to thr rooms instead of having to drive a distance to get to them! They do plenty of driving! I’m happy to know that even thou these gentlemen are getting paid to do thr job by always getting everyone’s power back on when it goes out they love what they do! They keep so many of us folks power up and running but they are thr in time of need to fix whatever it maybe that took the power out!!
