9 a.m. - 10 a.m. Sunday; 25 Nov 2018: The most disastrous McDonald's melt down experience of all time.... crew inside overwhelmed; I was unaware what I was getting into. I ordered at the new kiosks, my printout looked strange. The order number looked scrambled and did not display on the monitor hanging from the ceiling. I asked one girl behind the counter if this signaled a problem with my order. She was a clueless deer in the headlights, muttered, and walked away from me without offering further assistance. I noticed other customers milling about saying they had been waiting over 30 minutes. Order taking ceased. I informed other walk-ins that they had just entered the Gates of Hell and that they should find another dining option. I warned all walk-ins at the door for the next 30 minutes as I stood back from the counter hoping in vain that they could get this under control. There were about 25 indoor customers affected by the "process" stoppage and all drifting in a sea of uncertainty and complaining to each other about the McDonald's FUBAR we were all experiencing. Finally my wife came in looking for me, dripping wet from the rain, got my ticket from me and eventually got the attention of the "male manager" about the delay and requested a refund. He stopped working the window and came over muttering apology after apology and processed a cash refund for my $9.45 self order. He handed me 4 dollar bills, the 45 cents and walked back to the window service area. I held up the 4 bills and yelled that he short changed me by a $5 bill. He acknowledged the blunder, came back to the till and tendered the $5 to me, and then he returned to the window area never making eye contact but muttering more wan apologies. This was the absolute worst case service scenario I've ever been involved with at any franchise of any corporation. The crew was under-staffed, unprepared, untrained and unable to get control of the in-house situation. All the attention, if any, that was even possible, and that couldn't be much, went to the drive thru window servicing. God only knows what happened to them out there. Whoever the idiot is that owns this location should be put in front of a firing squad today for abject failure and negligence to operate to the standards. Word from the crew was leaking out to us that the Owner "miscalculated" that Sunday after the holiday would be a slow day and so the duty crew size had been "reduced".... no doubt the Owner was sneaking in a quick "cost cutting" measure to avoid holiday pay. Well this is how that gamble turned out... I will never spend another cent in a McDonald's as long as I live. I've never commented on a situation like this, considering that everybody can have a bad day, but this was so bad even I had to throw a penalty flag on these buffoon "owners". I say eject them from the game permanently for targeting...
Read moreTry to order food from this McDonald's. 3 minutes ago, walk in, there was no one ahead of me. There was no one at the chaos. There was no one waiting for their food. There was a short line in the drive through as I walked past it A lady passed me up at the cash. Register 4 times doing other things. Not waiting on customers or handing out food. And after waiting overtime minutes came up to the counter and said, do you want to order? When I replied, yes, she barked my direction overhear. You have to come Uber here to this register if you want to order. I told her never mind. I'd go somewhere where I would be politely. Greeted and where they would at least act like they wanted to wait on me. And she walked off, she said. Yeah, like you're the only person in here. Factor the matter I was. I've never been dealt with such rude service and of even at a fast food restaurant in my entire life. It is obvious that McDonald's does not want to deal with customers. That's what that kiosk thing is all about. Which I didn't go to. Because I was paying cash and would have to go to the counter to pay anyway. McDonald's refusal to greet or thank customers. And this particular red headed ladies. Attitude toward a customer simply means that I will never purchase food from a...
Read moreThis has to be the worst McDonald's every time we go they mess up our order and have been rude several times about it. Examples: Once I paid for 2 extra bbq sauces through the drive through and noticed that they were not in my bag, their response was that they ran out of bbq sauce, I asked for my money back which they refused and said they could give me another kind of sauce instead, I didn't want another kind of sauce. Another time I sent my daughter to the counter to order a Mcflurry, after paying for it and waiting for about 10 minutes I came and asked where it was. They told me the machine wasn't working. At first they refused to give me my money back as it "was already in the register" to which I asked for a manager then finally was refunded the money. Another time I went through the drive through ordered a whole list of items one of which was a big mac. When I got home about 15 minutes away the big mac was only the burger and ketchup, nothing else on it. I drove all the way back as my son was very disappointed in this. They did not offer an apology, they exchanged it for the correct burger and was very rude about it like it was my fault somehow. I could go on, all I can say is I will no be going back to...
