The staff here treat the customers as huge inconveniences. There’s only 1 person at the counter, and God help you if there’s a line - why bother having two POS systems?
This is the third time I use one of the self serve kiosks - because I enjoy using them, knowing I’m putting my order in the right way, and able to go to my table in the play area to watch my kids because my food will then be brought to me and I can put my order in faster than someone can order theirs. Now that this option is available, my kids can play while I watch from a table, and the food is brought to me so I don’t have to worry about them.
However, this doesn’t work exactly as you’d imagined. This is the second time, out of three, that I attempted to use the self serving kiosk. Doesn’t accept credit card payments. So I had to wait in a long line JUST to pay for my food. Oh, but wait. The manager on duty has to count the drawer because they added cash to it to change out for larger bills. Then the cashier has to do the same. 10 minutes later, they’re ready to take more customers now that we’re 15 deep.
What’s the purpose of that second POS again??
Then, when they see you “want table side service”, because, you know, you ordered through the kiosk and have the option to have the food brought to you now - would rather go play in traffic than be bothered with bringing the food to your table. Because screw the idea you want to watch your kids and not have to worry about leaving them for a moment, or need to gather them and not lose them in the crowd that has now accumulated to order and wait for their food in a very tiny space.
And God forbid if you want to go ahead and get your drink so you don’t clog up the waiting area or have to somehow balance multiple drinks on a full tray of food (praying you don’t bump into anyone), because you’ll be waiting more than 10 minutes for anything. “You’re not supposed to get your drink until I give you your food.” No, I paid for it, and if you’re going to make me wait a long time for my meal, at least let me have my drink. That stupid rule needs to go away - because you’re inconveniencing your customer.
And why on earth is it so hard to ASK if a customer needs anything to complete their meal? Why is it ketchup and napkins can’t simply be offered? Why do you throw the food on the counter after yelling like a auctioneer my number 10 times in a row in 5 seconds? Why do you instantly turn your back on the customer after they go to look on their tray or in their bag to make sure they have everything, thus having the customer have to yell for someone to give them something they’re missing or needing?
Why does no one smile? For a company kind of famous for a “smile” that’s easily recognizable, no one seems to have one.
And it’s at every McDonald’s I have ever been to. This one? I had high expectations when they remodeled. They even had a great head start. Once head management left, this location took a quick nosedive. Typical. And it will never change because McDonalds has become a powerhouse.
1 Star for the food (as that practically doesn’t change in taste), 1 Star for the remodel.
I took away 1 Star for the service, 1 Star for the failed kiosk, and 1 Star for how it’s ran.

Read moreAbsolutely terrible. I was across the street at the gas station at 1130 and saw 8 cars seemingly getting service. Wasn't even that hunger but now I'm thinking about getting just 2 little hamburgers. Googledand saw they close at midnight. I drive over and I was in line at 11:40 with 4 other cars. I heard them tell the car in front of me they don't have any burgers because they already broke the grills down and they can't do smoothies because "there's something going on" with their smoothie machine... then they said all we have is chicken. Now I'm next and already disappointed because I really don't want chicken but ok if it's all they have... now it's my turn and they tell me they're closed. It's only 1145pm. They continued to to be rude and when I asked questions like so what time do you close they answered we're closed now and I said well I thought you closed at 12 and they said we're closed and then I mentioned another McDonald's that's 7 minutes away and when I Googled it said it was open until 1230 so I asked them isthat location open, I'm not from around here and I said I don't want to drive there if they're not open and they said no no they're open they're open for a little while longer than we are. Which of course I drive the 7 minute drive just to see that that McDonald's is completely shut down even though it says it's open till 1230... this is terrible business practice. Close at 1130 if you're not going to honor your...
Read moreNot only did I visit a few weeks ago for a small party for my kids and was treated like garbage, I witnessed something awful a few weeks after. I had a play date at this McDonald’s and a class of special needs students came in on a field trip and the whole staff gave off such a bad vibe with moaning and groaning and sideways looks along with the comment to the effect of“really?!” that one of the parents said “umm are we not supposed to be here?!” She was shaking mad! I can’t believe the disrespect for a few more meals than anticipated! I know losing one or two customers isn’t a big deal but when I brought it up on social media with my fellow parent friends they informed me they never go to this location because it’s always the same rudeness! We love McDonald’s for the happy meals and play place but this location is not worth the disrespect! I’m so angry that they would treat special needs students on a field trip this way! They don’t get out to do things like this all the time and they ruined the whole experience for them! I will say I spoke to a lady on the phone after contacting corporate and she is investigating the situation and was very sweet and apologetic and truly understands the heart brake as she was a special needs teacher for eight years. I hope something is done about the attitudes for...
