Sundae Shoppe — Restaurant in Covington

For a small mom and pop shop they have some delectable ice cream. They had fresh made ice cream as well as the typical flavors in a machine dispenser. I had the strawberry Sunday which included vanilla from the machine and was topped with whip cream. The ice cream was creamy but not fatty and not overbearingly sweet. As for the strawberry top it was in the form of a jelly layered on top. I thought this was going to be extremely sweet but it ended up being natural in flavor and delicious. Definitely will be back to try some of the flavors.

I purchased a box of the Vanilla Carmel Sunday Cones at Aldi's. When I opened the paper wrapper to the cone, and I started to eat it I got this horrible taste in my mouth. When I took out what I had started to chew, I seen it was a dead fly. Needless to say I was sick the rest of the night. Never again will I by Sundae Shoppe products.
