Taco Bell — Restaurant in Covington

WAS my favorite taco bell location! But the past few visits have been awful. I used to drive further out of my way to go to this location because it’s always been better, but it’s gone down hill recently. I don’t know if it’s because they’re short staffed or simply because the employees are rude and careless. Coming from someone who has solely worked in customer service, I understand how difficult the job can be, and I know it’s just a taco bell but the attitude and disregard for food quality is absolutely ridiculous. We pulled up to the window after placing an online order for two luxe boxes, and then some, we’re immediately told “I can’t make that.” Not “I can’t make this item” or “Can we substitute that item,” just “I can’t make that.” We had to ask what item couldn’t be made, and then substituted chalupas for hard shell tacos- whatever. I didn’t want to make a big deal because- again, I understand working in customer service (AND food service), and the last thing we need is spit in our food. But then we get home and we’re met with more disappointment. There wasn’t a single full chip, and the cheese… oh my god. This was one of the worst Taco Bell's I've ever been to. It was only about 8 p.m. in the evening when I went through the drive-thru. First they were out of sweet or unsweet tea, and then they were out of mild sauce which is the only sauce I typically ever use. The line was probably about 20 cars long, because I only had one cook and one cashier who seemed to be extremely new and worked extremely slow and seemed very incompetent. After this awful experience driving away from the drive through the car drove into a big pothole what you could not avoid. It was kind of like a going-away present. LOL. The food was ice cold and the order was mixed up. After eating some of it throw most of it away an hour later I felt sick to my stomach assuming that some of the food was probably bad. Didn't get all of my order. When I went back to get it, I was charged for the missing items. Thought everything was OK so went to motel to eat. Took a drink of my tea, it wasn't what I ordered, I was also supposed to have hard taco Supreme. They were not. They were just regular taco. I then took it back again. Finally got my order right. I asked for phone number for corporate office. Assistant manager wouldn't give it to me. I then asked for her boss, again wouldn't give number to me. Said I would have to come back the next day.
