Meridian Tap House — Restaurant in Cozad

I did not have a good experience at this restaurant. If you want to eat here, set aside 2 hours to get your food and eat. I arrived at 12 PM and left at 12:55 PM without any food or service besides getting my soda. I went in the other day with my family for lunch and the restaurant was half full. We waited and waited for the waitress to come to our table, she got us our sodas, and that was basically the end of her service. It took her almost 15 minutes to check in on us after giving us our sodas and take our order. We waited.. and waited.. and waited. Our waitress refused to make eye contact with us and was very cold. She did not smile or welcome us. She did not come to check on us, did not refill our drinks, did not update us on the status of our order, did not bring our salads, never checked in on us again. We have two Type 1 diabetic women in our group so they needed to eat. At 12:55, my grandmother had low blood sugar and she absolutely needed to eat, so we had to leave to go lift it in time to avoid her going into shock. Upon leaving, our waitress said our order had just come up but I didn't believe her because we had been waiting and waiting with no update. I think she was trying to save face or did not put in our order when we gave it. I think this because tables came in to sit after us, and had put in their order, received their order, AND received their bill. Service was horrible and there were only 2 other tables with people at them and 1 person sitting at the bar and there were 3 waitresses and one was playing on her phone and the other 2 were doing nothing. Took forever to get waited on. We almost left because it was taking so long. Waitress didn't write down our order and so she had to come back 2 times to ask us what we ordered claiming the cook threw our ticket away. What ticket?, and twice? When served our food, we were asked if we wanted silverware. In my practices, silverware is just brought to the table. I surely wasn't expected to eat my salad with my hands was I? As for the food and drinks, I wasn't impressed at all. My drink wasn't made correctly by Dena and my burger was dry and the pulled pork on my burger appeared to be old as it had pieces that were hard in it and i couldnt chew it.
