In the busy city of Cranberry twp there are plenty of pizza places to choose from but this is one of my favorites. I can't speak much on the variety of their menu bc i really only get one thing - their sicilian pizza. It's not your traditional sicilian pizza bc they do not pre- bake the shells to get the light/airy texture in the dough, instead they stretch the dough fresh for each pizza which, in a thicker pizza like a sicilian, gives it a nice, doughy texture that i really love. Then another part of the pizza i love is, and this isn't by accident, is that there is always a nice bit of very crispy ( but not burnt) cheese along the crust. I've been told that's a little thing they do on their pizzas and it's awesome! The cheese appears to be a nice heavy mix of mozzarella and provolone, very good and they do not skimp on the cheese. The pepperoni also always has that nice crunchiness that i always enjoy having but not many places do it right. Champs certainly does! But now we get to my favorite part of any pizza - the SAUCE. As you can see by my pics i love alot (i mean downright messy) of sauce. I always ask for some extra sauce right on top after it comes out and they always oblige, without charging me extra... There should never be a charge for some extra sauce. Don't hesitate to give this place a try... Your taste buds...
Read moreMy husband and I wanted to try a new pizza place and found Champs. We walked in and we're greeted by friendly staff and we're given a menu and coupons right off the bat! Our order was taken and we waited 20mins then drove home. We could not wait and enjoyed a cheesy roll in the car and we're amazed at the flavor! So good! We finally got home and had our 10slice pan pizza while almost finishing the whole thing. We were shocked that we only had one slice left! One thing to keep in mind is that the size of the pizza is smaller but this was our fault and we will just have to order the 20slice instead! Prices were great and flavor was amazing! We will definitely be coming...
Read moreOrdered a whole Italian and bread sticks. Granted, they told me they were busy, and it may be about 45 minutes, but they 'doubt' it. Well, it took an hour and 15 minutes on a Thursday. Also, asked for NO onions and no Italian dressing with mayo on the side. Got onions and no mayo. Bread sticks were meh, and the cheese from the Italian stuck to the foil and made the sandwich fall apart. First and last time ordering...
