Chinese Chef Inn — Restaurant in Crane

Not sure how this is rated so high other than it being 1 of the only places to eat for many miles..not much else in this town..i will say if it wasnt for the chicken itself being great this would very easy be a 1 star..they over sauce the meal way to much..General TSO..sauce isnt great and it was soaked in it..Spicy Chicken..same thing soaked in sauce..fried rice that comes with it..terrible..zero flavor..they only serve meals with chicken..they use the same chicken in every dish you order..eggs rolls..same as you would get anywhere..crab rangoon's..same thing..nothing you cant get anywhere else..if they would just serve the sauce on the side it would have...

My family and I eat here about once a week and have since they opened about a year and a half ago. It is the best Chinese in MO! All sauce is fresh custom mix, NOT out of a can. I have special diet needs, and they always help me by preparing my order with no sugar, no oil. Tastes so good! Very friendly owner Mrs. Kim is awesome! These people know how to make a fantastic authentic meal. Prices are extremely fair. Between 5.00 to 7.00 (ish) for nearly anything...

The restaurant is clean and we'll kept. It is brightly lit with adequate seating. The staff is friendly, I was greated when I came in and they smiled the entire time I was there. My order arrived perfectly and hot. I ordered a combo lemon chicken, steamed rice with an egg roll. The chicken was delicious. My egg roll wasn't great, it tasted a little old? But overall I really enjoyed my meal. I greatly appreciate all of their time and...
