Crane License Office — Local services in Crane

After two DMVs rejected my proper documentation for being a resident, my bank teller told me to go to Crane DMV. I had moved down from Illinois and had been so overwhelmed by the move I didn’t have time to chase around everyday. So even though driving to Crane was a bit longer it turned out to be well worth it. I walked in about 11:30 am and was the only customer. I was greeted by two of the friendliest ladies a customer could ask for! They were full of smiles and kindness making the whole ordeal pleasant. The young lady I went to allowed me to prove my residency without question and I was out of there in thirty minutes. What a relief getting that weight off of my mind! Thank you to two great ladies at Crane DMV! Keep it up! I’m sure I will be coming back! I hope you realize how much stress you took away from this old man and for that I’m much appreciative. I had submitted an address change on the DMV website, as I moved not too long ago and for some reason I had stopped receiving the renewal card in the mail. I received an email back this morning stating that it wasn't processed due to errors, so I called my local DMV (Crane) and I asked about the address change and if there was a way to correct it over the phone.

She responded with an attitude, "No" and then just got quiet and after about 30 seconds she starts in again, "we don't know anything about the online address change and we don't do that here". I responded, "Oh, I wasn't aware. It's on the DMV website, so I thought you would know something about it". She responded, "Well, we don't do that here" and hung up.

I've been advised by so many people to take my registration, DL renewal, and any other DMV business here but now, I don't want to if the women there can't work with proper customer...

My husband and I had numerous title changes needed on several types of vehicles from two different states. All the staff in the office were very nice, but Emily was the one that helped us and with her guidance, expertise and overall knowledge we were done with what could be completed and sent away with all the necessary additional paperwork plus a list of highlighted items that needed done on our end before the final two vehicles could be finished. We live a lot closer to other license offices that have taken up to an hour just waiting for a tag renewal.
