The staff is nice and the building appears to be kept well. Unfortunately, I have been here twice. The first time I muscled down a coffee that was not made how I had asked for as there was a lot of confusion when trying to order it and the headset the person was wearing was super low. Today I went through the drive thru and ordered a chocolate raspberry latte. I was given a coffee. I went back and asked for it to be a latte as the receipt said coffee and not latte as well. The gentleman working there unfortunately was not sure how to make a latte and asked me a few times the steps I was asking for. I simply asked a for a chocolate raspberry latte with no added sugar. The woman once realizing it said she would make it. She confirmed again what I wanted and even asked what type of milk I wanted which I replied 2% please. I received what looks like a cup of cream with maybe a some coffee in it. No espresso flavor at all. Milk and espresso not separated typically like a latte would be. No raspberry chocolate. I then had to ask for the raspberry chocolate in which I believe she put the coffee brew flavored coffee in it. I never heard the espresso machine be used and honestly they were closing in 40 minutes. Not sure if they didn't want to use the machine to dirty it up or the espresso was in a container some where. I think with some training this could be a great place to get coffee. I will however will not be attempting to get a coffee there...
Read moreI know Covid has impacted many industries hard, but none more than this location. My husband and i have been customers here for almost 10 years with great service until this past year. We understand that employee retention is difficult and we are always very patient having worked in the service industry ourselves.
Perhaps you should consider updating your ordering system, not only for customers, but for staff. Sticky notes with the exact order still get misinterpreted at the register. We have been overcharged, undercharged, missing items... Only in the past year. There have been countless times in the last few months we have at a silent drive through, no one saying "just a moment please" or acknowledging our presence, only to drive past the window and then see people taking orders for those behind us. Is the drive thru system working properly?
For these reasons, i had to drop my previous 5-star rating to a 3. We've both been going here less frequently even though it's a stone's throw from our house and we really enjoy the long term staff that we have come to know and love. Read moreI love their coffee it's really good and the girls are usually 99% great at the window during the day. My husband went thru the Park Ave window a few nights ago and ordered a large iced coffee and the girl insisted he ordered a medium. He said fine and took the medium. He gave her a $10 bill & she gave him $1 change back. He said I gave you a 10 she insisted once again he did not and she pulled out a 5 dollar bill from the drawer. He was very frustrated took the wrong change he was due and left. He came home frustrated after a long hard 10 hour day. He complained about the girl and I suggested he do something about it. Talk to the MANAGER or call the number and don't take that kind of service from anyone and don't walk away without the change you're owed. She was there alone. You're supposed to leave the bill out of the register and then provide change. She knew what she was doing in taking his change which was a lot or was just not trained. Her skills on every level were pretty bad, he said, especially where you're not paying attention and arguing with customers. He knew he was right and couldn't argue with her anymore. So my husband left unhappy and without his order.
