Naga Coffeehouse — Restaurant in Cranston

I came here on a whim when in the area and I had some extra time. I’m so glad I did, it’s a beautiful new coffee shop with a lot of intention behind the name and the type of atmosphere the owner, Khamla, and her staff (I chatted with Ricardo that was working the counter, as well as with Khamla) strive to foster (a place where people can slow down for a moment and connect mindfully to themselves and each other. Yes! 🙌)

Clean, aesthetic space with thoughtful, artful details. Their coffee was delicious and so was the breakfast sandwich on a croissant. Besides their vision as a business, we talked about meditation and mindfulness, which are part of the owner’s Southeast Asian culture. So is the naga, which is a serpent in Southeast Asian mythology that symbolizes….well, Google says it better than me, so I’ll attach a screenshot of that as well as some photos :-)

Stopped here on my way back to Boston from a week long trip to Narragansett and I’m so happy I did. I was craving matcha all week and when I saw this place was called Naga (my 5 yo is obsessed with Dragon Masters) I had to get off the highway and go! I’m so happy I did. The strawberry matcha was amazing but what I really remember is the customer service. The person that helped me was very helpful. Visited Naga Coffeehouse for the first time today. Amazing experience! Always nervous about trying out new coffee shops but the owner was so nice, polite, & knowledgeable about coffee. I tried the Brown Sugar Shaken espresso with vanilla cold foam (figured it was a safe option for my first time) and it was delicious!! Everything was perfect from the rich espresso taste, to the cold foam, to the ice-to-drink ratio, and presentation.
