Red Anchor Inn — Restaurant in Croton Township

Worst dining experience. Food is awful. Gordon foods specials. ZERO INTEGRITY!. Service was great until waitress burned my 11 month old sending him screaming and she didn't even flinch or apologize until confronted.

I wouldn't and didn't feed the ribs to my dog. They were spare ribs not baby back. All fat. I don't buy this low grade of meat why would I spend nearly $100 for it for a small family of 4 (2 adults 2 toddlers)

I asked for a manager. I was told there was nobody in charge. I could talk to the other waitress if I wanted to. Then the cook/head chef came out

I complained about the ribs, expressed my disappointment with the quality. He then expressed that he had concerns about the ribs while prepping them thinking to himself they should look into better quality and had agreed they were particularly fatty. I then asked for a refund on my entree to which I was denied.

When addressing the waitress burning my kid I was told they will work on better informing their staff on how to be more careful.

Wing dings, cheap precooked lowest grade chicken reject meat you can find.

This is all marketing and friends boosting this tourist trap and absolutely disgusting food and service. $86 and I will tell everyone I seee for weeks to come of my local dining experience.

I hope someone sees this and learns from my mistakes. I will never go back to this hole again. I will relish at its doors closing.

The Red Anchor Inn is our family’s favorite place to eat. It’s located on Croton Hardy Dr. which has breathtaking views. We are always greeted with kindness & a smile even when our baby is crying! The waitress’s almost always offer to put in our children’s food first because they’re so understanding when it comes to hungry toddlers. The owners will also sometimes surprise them with ice cream after their meal! I have NEVER experienced a restaurant that is so caring and loving towards children. We have never felt uncomfortable or embarrassed like we have at other places. They have lots of tables, booths and tons of dining space. Me & my husband also enjoy the cute little bar as we share a bottle of wine under candlelight. I’ve also noticed they have different specials every time we go! The homemade clam chowder is a huge hit for me or I’ll switch it up and get a salad only because I love their homemade 1000 island. The chef takes pride in his work and we notice! NEVER AGAIN GOING TO THIS RESTAURANT!!!!!!!
