I went there the other day and ordered fiesta potatoes, along with a few other things. After receiving my food, I inched a few feet out of the drive-thru window, only to notice that no fork was included in the bag. I reversed my vehicle back to the window, honked my horn a few times and finally got the attention of the drive-thru attendant. After explaining to her that I wasn't given a fork, she hands one to me, and quickly closes the window, without any acknowledgement of the mistake.
Now, I understand mistakes happen and sometimes these things can be overlooked, but it's not like there were 10 vehicles behind me. From the moment I placed my meal, to the realization that I had no utensil, I was the only car in the lane. By the way, this has happened to me many times before, and just not at this location either. Also, aside from the fork mishap, the portion was on the small side. Typically when I order fiesta potatoes from other locations, there's a good amount in there, but this location gave me less than what seemed half of the size of the container.
Needless to say, I will not be going to this location. However, I do think the staff needs a refresher on how to deal with customers. I'm not the type who leaves negative comments on certain establishment, as I have worked in retail in the past and know how difficult it can be to deal with customers and that particular environment, but at the end of the day, if you make a mistake, you should certainly own up to it and acknowledge it, instead of making the customer feel like it was somehow...
Read moreI don't know, I'm old school. I worked there when I was young when Scott with the GM. The bean burrito rocked, they had a seafood taco salad back then...it was flavorful. The steak soft taco had just come out. It was dynamite! So, I got to ask... What have you done to it? It's no where near what it use to be. Not the stores fault, I blame the corporate for changing the flavoring. It's not bad, but not overly impressive any more. Meat, cheese and lettuce? That's not a taco. Where's the onion, tomato and black olives on it? People want a bang for their buck, value, quality and quantity. I'm not seeing that now. But, anyways the old location got a face lift. Looks great. Still brings back memories from us CBers / Gearheads that use to hang out at the C.L. water tower and walk across route 14 to stock up on burritos and tacos. I'll still go there, but bring back the flavor, and missing ingredients. I could never figure out why they ever discontinued the crab seafood taco salad with ranch dressing... That thing ruled. The dining room looks awesome, but loose the kiosk - horrible. People want human interaction, and that thing doesn't take cash either. Bad idea. Aside, from all of my findings... It's still the old taco bell I remembered, in the same location it's always been. ...
Read moreFood tastes the same as all other Taco Bells but the "cooks" don't pay attention to the orders, lots of mistakes. Three orders over the past few days.
Steak Quesidilla w/ no jalapeño sauce and extra steak, three soft shell tacos, no lettuce, no beef, add chicken.
Result: Quesidilla did not have extra steak, tacos had lettuce.
Return trip: Quesidilla still didn't have extra steak.
Three Chicken Enchilada Burritos w/ no sour cream, no cheese, add steak.
Result: No chicken even though it's included.
Three Chicken Enchilada Burritos w/ no sour cream, no red sauce, add steak.
Result: No chicken even though it's included.
Additionally, on orders 2 & 3, I specified that the burritos should have chicken and steak which the window attendant said they had which means most likely the "cook" lied to the attendant.
Summary: The flavor is the same which is good but if you have ANY modifications to your order don't expect them to be fulfilled. I will be going to the location off Randall from now on because they are...
