This was probably the worst hot pot/ Korean BBQ I have ever had. Could not really tell you what the food tastes like as their tablets didn’t work to order, we ended up with only 1 round of food ( like 4 pieces of small meat) We only got one round of drinks. Never brought us drinks after asking 4-5 times. As I’m writing this it’s been an hour since a server has come to our table.
Will never be here again.

Gratuity was not left for the lack of service. Half of our table did not even eat because we did not get food…. And yet we still paid for them even though they never ate.
How can we ask for drinks 4-5 times no one comes.
How can we ask for the bill 3 times and it takes 30 minutes to get the bill?
How can we wait over an hour for a server to come back to the table?
Maybe if you would have staff that would check on their tables in a reasonable time this would not have been an issue. Technology issues happen. But why did no one ever come over to take order after over an hour off technology issues? That’s a simple solution that never happened.
It baffled all of us, and we were just done with all the waiting. We were there for over 3 hours, and half of us didn’t get food, drinks, etc.

I understand that. But we even had people in our group go up to employees at the bar to ask for drinks. They simply passed it on to another person. Who then never got us our drinks.
Communication is key. If there was some communication to us explaining there is network issues, or that you are understaffed we would have been more understanding.
At the end of the day, if you cannot accommodate for a larger group don’t allow for reservations that large. There should have been two servers on our group alone. If there are network issues, communicate that. If people ask for drinks, get them the drinks. Don’t wait 45 minutes and then still leave us without drinks. If people ask for the checks, don’t take 30 minutes to get us checks.
The food was great. Nothing wrong with the food we actually got to eat. But how can I be charged 33 dollars for all you can eat, when all I got was 4 pieces of meat after being there for...
Read moreI came here to eat with my family this past weekend and here's my review of Kirin King. Going to their website I was extremely excited that they offer hot pot and BBQ! WOOT! When we arrived that was not the case what so ever. The hot pot/bbq side of the restaurant is not open and I wouldn't hold your breath to be honest as I peaked into there and it wasn't even close to being finished. We decided to eat dinner there and once you walk through the old revolving door you're greeted with a giant fish tank that semi-clean semi dirty. It's not really appealing when you're about to sit down to eat. Then you look around and it's like you're placed back in time with the decor of yester-years. We were escorted to a different room and that's where the sushi train was but it wasn't even running. Strike 2.
We get seated and I tell our waitress we're ready to order. However, I felt there was a bit of a language barrier and she couldn't fully understand my request. Normally this isn't a problem but when my daughter is allergic to nuts it's extremely important that she and the kitchen understands that there is no miscommunication or cross contamination as instead of simply ordering dinner we'll instead be ordering a funeral with a hearse.
I tell our waitress that I'd like to order the chicken fried rice for my kids and that there should be no nuts or peanuts. She gives me a 100-yard steer and is looking at me like I'm a Martian. It was like I was speaking an alien language to her. This is extremely concerning when someone has a deadly allergy to something. It made my daughter so nervous that she refused to eat the fried rice, and honestly I don't blame her!
Service was extremely lacking at this restaurant and I observed numerous tables trying flag down their server. The food is great, the atmosphere is so-so and the service is just terrible.
Will I be back? I don't know as I really wanted hot pot but again who knows when that will open. I'll probably just order to go for now as I have no interests in seeing the atmosphere or experiencing...
Read moreWas so excited to finally try out Kirin King. Arrived at 5 for an early Sunday dinner. Decided to order from menu. We were seated quickly by very friendly staff. Waiter came by promptly and took our drink order. He came back about 5 minutes later and took our appetizer order - soup and baked mussels. The soup for my daughter came right away. After a bit he came back and said the mussels were coming. We had to remind him of our drinks. He very clearly forgot to order them. Mine came finally, the other took at least another 10 minutes. He took our dinner order. Mussels came about 5 minutes later (so around 20 mins after my daughter's soup). Asked waiter for an fork. Had to flag him down again to ask again. Both the soup and the mussels were very good. Waiter came by to clear the dirty dishes,,, set a pile of dirty dishes on our table and stacked my dirty plate on top of the other dirty dishes and left. This kinda grossed us both out. Dinner came-1 cold roll and 2 hot rolls. All were very good. Waiter never came by to see if everything was OK. Our waiter was very nice and pleasant, but definitely needed to be trained much better. I thought maybe he was just busy, but my daughter said he was busy on his phone (behind me), so wasn't aware. If I would have known this, I would not have been so complacent regarding the poor service. (nor would I have still given a 20% tip) I will be back, as I really want to do the hot pot side of the restaurant. I will give another chance. The menu was huge, pricing was fair,,, but for over $80 for dinner for 2, I expect the service to be better. The pile of dirty plates set on our table was a definite sign that our waiter was not trained properly at all, no matter how...
