First time here...my server was very helpful and explained how their menu worked. You pick an entree from the menu and select a side dish. The buffet is included, limited in selections, I wish there was more of the salad bar than what they offered. Now, the food was great just like homemade. They keep the Buffett very tidy. The whole resturant is kept clean and what ab amazing bathroom. The staff were very friendly and attentive. I noticed that they do different specials throughout the week. Mondays kids eat free with 1 adult entree (max 2 kids free)... this one stuck out the best deal for myself as I am a parent. That's an awesome deal. Unlike other buffets they allow you to take home your entree not the buffet. I had a pretty good experience here, the price to eat was cheap. I will be returning in the future. Thank you Country Cookin.

I visited on late Sunday afternoon. Daily special entrée was meatloaf with a side to include buffet. I got the meatloaf special with fries on the side. Buffet is a salad bar and a lot of side dish type vegetables and desserts, rolls. Salad bar was good. I added jalapeño peppers to my salad. That was good. Entree dishes are smaller than bigger and served on a small platter plate. The meatloaf was good and tasted fresh with a hint of green pepper. Love that. Buffet and restaurant looked clean to me except for ceiling HVAC returns that need to be cleaned. I did notice that there was one woman working the floor. She was seating people, taking orders, following up on seated tables, refills etc. I thought the customer service on her part was good.

We did not end up eating at this restaurant. No one speaks English and they use their phone to translate to you. So we did not understand we thought it was a Buffay, and it was not a Buffay. From what I can see from the Buffay especially the macaroni and cheese was very very runny and loose like it was made in a pot not bacon in the oven so it’s nothing country about that. Also, you order your meat and all you get this Buffay is what’s up on the Buffay, so there is no Buffay for the meat is crazy as it works.

Where to begin... its not worth the money. When we came in the host looked around at the tables and said ugh just sit over then and pointed at a table. We go sit down and the waitress seems surprised that we're sitting in her section. She was super nice thought. The buffet is unorganized. The pancakes are on the left side and the syrup is across the buffet on the opposite side. Same for the biscuits and gravy. The biscuits were hard, flat and half the size of the plate. I asked for some other biscuits and was told 5 minutes. When the new biscuits came out they looked completely different. They actually looked like biscuits but were still hard. The potatoes were complete mush. The bacon is placed in the fryer so it's a jumbled burnt mess. The only enjoyable items were the pancakes, French toast and juice. The host didn't know what he was doing. They kept just pointing at tables and telling people to sit down, several times they ended up sitting people at tables that already had people sitting there but had got up to get their food. So we came into town on Saturday afternoon. I saw the sign and was beyond excited. I've been to other country cookin restaurants before and loved them. We went and checked into the hotel and were told that hotel had free breakfast. I said ugh no we have to go to country cookin. Now I wish I took the free breakfast over paying $40 for the worst...

I wanna start with the baked potato... It's what I got first with my meal. I'm wondering how old this potato was. It was so tough I could only eat the very center and the rest was like cardboard. A cardboard raisin... That's what I got. The butter and sour cream didn't disappoint, though 😁. Moving on to wait staff... I'm not sure if any person on this staff tonight was an adult... It looked and seemed for other reasons like the place was run by high school kids. While the server was friendly and I do appreciate that she was young, removing plates throughout a meal is important to me. Especially if I stack a bunch at the end of the table. Also, it's rude to reach across my face to hand others food and drink. I still tip 20% cuz that's what I do. Unfortunately I had to make use of the rest room and was pretty grossed out. The sign says they check the condition of the restroom often yet as of 8pm the last signature was at 7am. The entire floor was wet, I assume as a result of a flooded toilet, judging by the plunger in the stall. At least it wasn't still clogged I guess. Anyhow the food was plentiful... No empty chaffing dishes... And,other than the potato, entirely edible. Service was middling. Presentation leaves much...

Country Cookin used to be a decent place to grab lunch and have a variety of food at a decent price. The variety is still available, however, the quality IS NOT! The mushrooms were slimy and looked freezer burnt. They are not keeping the plates or bowls stocked. The cornbread looked and felt like a hockey puck and when I asked the waitress for fresh ones she obliged, but the cornbread came out the same. When she was asked again she then said she would ask the manager. After a bit, I saw her talking to the manager and he was shrugging his shoulders and looked at our table, but disappeared behind the buffet. He never approached our table and never offered an explanation. So we questioned our waitress and she was not sure but the manager thought the night crew left something out of the mixture... Why would you want your patrons to consume a hockey puck and not rectify the problem instead of allowing customers to consume horrible food and not be concerned with the quality? It is a shame that the owner/manager does not respond to anything but positive reviews and shows he is not willing to rectify...
