Placed an order for pick up Friday night. Upon arrival at the restaurant, only half of my order was in the bag; I was missing one out of two entrees ordered. After a few mins, my other entree was ready. When I got to the car, I checked to make sure my meal was prepared correctly, and it wasn’t. I went back inside and explained I had ordered enchiladas with cheese sauce and no red sauce. What they gave me was covered in red sauce and no cheese sauce. Two employees, a rude female and a rude male, proceeded to argue with me about what I had ordered lol like I didn’t know what I had ordered when I called the order in! Finally after going back and forth, they reluctantly took what they gave me back, and went back to re make my food. I asked to speak to the manager, (call me a Karen, I don’t care; I work hard for my money) Tonya, who was fairly pleasant, but not at all helpful. She basically just smiled and nodded and pretended to be “taking notes.” As I’m walking to the car, another employee comes out saying his brother had something for me. So I see the same male employee standing at the door with a bag of food in his hand, and when I asked if that was actually my correct order, he waved me off and said “everything is fine. It’s okay.” I think they had mistakenly mixed up my order with someone else’s and instead of just admitting it and making it right, they chose to try and cover it up.
Anyway, the food was bomb. I’ll give it to them on the food; the food is really good. Which is even more disappointing that the customer service is so poor.
The next day, despite how bad the customer service was, the food was good. I decided to try them again, in hopes they would redeem themselves. Maybe it was just a bad night. Placed an order over the phone, again the customer service was totally lackluster. Went to go pick it up; the young woman at the counter was pleasant; but the same rude female from last night brought my food out and practically tossed it at me. Not a greeting, not a smile anywhere to be found. She’s obviously very unhappy at this job and it is evident all over her face. I checked to make sure that my order was correct and it was. However, I did not notice until I got home that the cheese dip was barelyyyyy half full, and that’s being generous, and I didn’t have any salsa. Sigh. Here we go again. Again, I work hard for my dollars, and if I’m going to spend it at your business, it should be what I ordered. I wasn’t charged HALF for that cheese dip lol I was charged full price for a barely half full product. I called the restaurant, asked for the manager, and a young man got on the line. He explained he was not the manager but the manager was not there at that time. I asked for his name, and he refused to give me his name. He stated he was “not allowed” to give out his name because they have been “scammed” lots of times. But I’m prettyyyyy sure all the servers wear name tags in there lol so yeah. Another rude, unhelpful employee.
Sorry Pancho Villa. As good as your food is, the hassle of dealing with rude employees and bad customer service, is not worth it, not to mention messing up TWO orders. At one time, this might have been the best place to eat in town but now, there are too many other places out there to choose from. Y’all need...
Read moreExcellent food and friendly and attentive wait staff. Came at the end of the lunch rush and ordered Fried Ice Cream & Steak Fajitas. Fried Ice Cream is not fried - I am starting to think that no one actually fries their ice cream anymore. It is a generous portion of vanilla ice cream rolled in corn flakes, served in a crisply, fried tortilla bowl that has been sprinkled with cinnamon sugar. It is topped with honey, whipped cream, and drizzled with colorful gel icing. Despite not being fried, this was a very good dessert with good flavor and nice presentation. The steak fajitas were served very hot on a sizzling iron skillet. I did have to stir it a bit to keep it from charring too much. The tortillas were non-uniform, appearing to be house made? which had excellent texture and flavor. With the generous toppings and grilled steak, peppers, and onions, it made for [3] generous portions. All in all, it was quite good and worth...
Read moreThe server was kind and attentive but the restaurant was kinda filthy theres green stuff coming out of the vents on the ceiling and everything else had a moldy dingy look. i have been to the other pancho villa up in stafford many times and it is wonderful compared to this place. The food was not good. I ordered the chili relleno and empanadas while the pepper was good the empanadas had a rancid taste to them and i could not finish them i told the waiter and his solution was a small discount on my portion of the meal. The other meal was kinda just bland and a little dry on the tamales. I probably wont go back to this location again but i do recommend the location...
