My husband stopped in for lunch last week and he and dining companion enjoyed their combo lunches of spring roll, soup and main dish. Beef & broccoli and chicken with mixed vegetables were deemed surprisingly good for a place that doesn't look like much from the outside. So while we were passing through Culpeper this evening we decided to stop for dinner. The cold noodles with sesame sauce and vegetables, hard to find around here. A colorful plate with julienned snow peas and carrots and noodles with a slightly spicy sesame sauce, not sweet, was great on a warm evening. My husband enjoyed his tempura of shrimp and vegetables-- 7 shrimp with even more pieces of broccoli, carrots and zucchini. All lightly battered and perfectly crunchy, served with the usual somewhat sweet dipping sauce. The shrimp and lobster sauce was unique in that it contained flaked bits of mock crab in the sauce, along with corn as well as the usual peas and carrots. The shrimp were tender and plentiful. We both brought half our entrees home. We saw many people enjoying their sushi and they were doing a brisk takeout and delivery business. Service was very good. Very pleasant...
Read moreWas a good place to eat until something happened? No clue. This place always made things right, no issues. I ordered 7 California rolls once for my family a couple weeks ago. They gave me 2 sauce cups about a quarter the way full with soy sauce. So a side note if you order big sushi meals here make sure you have sauce at home. Constantly forgetting stuff, food is over cooked or under cooked, orders being messed up due to lack of understanding. Last 4 times have been horrible experience and think Im going to move on to another place. Edit: After I told the manager I will no longer eat here, he proceeded to tell me I was banned from the restaurant due to me complaining about my filet mignon being so hard I couldn’t cut it. Me personally, I think it was stew meat. I told the manager that I would bring the food in for him self to try but I guess he didn’t want to. Funny how people won’t eat food that they serve. Welp, headed down the road to the big O now! Good luck to anyone who would like to eat here! I suggest checking your bags to make sure you have everything, 95% of the time they forget...
Read moreSo first I called and ordered my phone through a phone service which I called the main number on there website and then was put on hold to verify that they could do what I asked and held for 20 minutes and then while holding I was getting a call from them because she thought I hung up but I was still on hold and I was being charged for hibachi chicken and shrimp and they are trying to charge me $29 which I was okay with because I had got a drink and extra he'll be awesome sauce and instead of rice I had asked for looming instead of the vegetables I wanted a side of rice so then I received a cell phone number calling me about 5 minutes after I place the order and I answered it and it was supposedly someone that worked at dragon chef and they're trying to charge me now $32 because I did the rices instead of the vegetables and then he went up on the price and it's already to expensive but I like the food. It's just sad of the customer service that I dealt with and being told you can just cancel your order. Yep sure I will .. and I'll be placing a review....
