Very disappointed as we were the first ones to arrive @5:30. All the employees were seated at a table like a family. We immediately ordered drinks and dinner. The water and bread arrived promptly but the alcoholic drinks arrived after I had finished my dinner! I’ve never had that happen anywhere. Destiny had no empathy or explanation until I had asked what was wrong. The printer had not printed the order but yet another higher priority person received their martinis within minutes of sitting down. Rather than apologizing for the extremely late drink Destiny and the other 4 employees continued to sit and talk.
As an owner, I know that drinks are priority to get a table started. Once the drinks arrived they were served in normal pint glasses like our water. No presentation and the margarita looked like sparkling water. Very disappointing for the drinks. Many of the employees spoke with monotone and did not smile except for one male server.
The lasagna was portioned great and presented well for my friend but the spaghetti bolognese was very disappointing. Tasted like homemade from my house and in a normal little salad bowl. No spices or flavor and the temperature was not hot.
Another loaf of bread cost extra which is understandable but also another shock.
The atmosphere lacks any authenticity of a trattoria and could use more mood setting.
Limited space is understandable but hardly anything on the walls and no Italian music doesn’t make it feel like a trattoria.
1 year later came with friends and everything actually was great but then a week after (3rd time) my food came out before my drink that took over 15 min. without Autumn acknowledging the delay. Autumn never checked on us and spoke with monotone and didn’t care that the drink was late. (2nd time happening)

Read moreI ordered the linguine pescatore with marinara. It was fabulous. The mussels were fresh and cooked perfectly and the shrimp wasn't chewy it was so tender almost melt in your mouth. Pasta was cooked al dente as it should be. Marinara was beautiful. I ordered tiramisu for dessert and it was amazing. So light and fluffy, the lady fingers weren't soggy they were perfectly light and airy. The espresso chips weren't overbearing or bitter. Perfectly sweet. It was the best tiramisu I've ever tasted. You can definitely tell the chef loves what he does which these days is so hard to find in local restaurants. Or they haven't been taught well. I ordered a drink I wasn't familiar with because I like to try new things hence why I went to this place. It was pure alcohol which I wasn't aware of but our waitress was quick to please and help any way she could to make the drink more appeasing to me by bringing me different options of cocktail juices and such. She was so nice. My sisters and I have made this our new restaurant for girls night. And I'm hoping to bring my picky husband to this place as a date night. He is finicky about his Italian food and I think this place he will fall in love with as quickly as I did. I highly recommend this location. Absolutely...
Read moreI was so excited when Lucrezia opened at the thought of having a good Italian restaurant in Culver but it is a big disappointment. The service is good and the atmosphere is nice, but other then that, I don't have much good to say. The food is just not good, especially considering how pricey it is. I've never seen a worse preparation of bruschetta which is basically a little tomato salsa and cheese melted on top a thick hoagie like roll and the appetizer pizza taste like a frozen store bought pizza. We were recently there on a Friday night and the place was practically empty. You know if a place in Culver is almost empty on a Friday night in the summer there has to be something drastically wrong. Since they have opened I keep "giving them another try" hoping they will read reviews such as this and take it to heart and honestly try to improve, but I don't see this is happening. It is really too bad because a good restaurant would have been busy and profitable in...
