Culver Park Department — Attraction in Culver

The town of Culver has been investing a lot of time planning the updates to the park. They are in the process of building an amphitheater which is taking shape beautifully! I grew up here and practically lived at the beach as a teen. The differences between then and now are astounding! It was always a difficult feat to navigate the restrooms. We fell a lot! It was so slippery! Now they have awesome throw mats that allow you to proceed safely. The snack bar has very reasonable prices. I wish they would offer swim related items like swim wings, small floaties ect.. Affordably priced...

Clean neat it was a little small but it wasn't super crowded. We're used to Chicago crowded it was not Chicago crowded. Facilities were also clean they have food on site we didn't eat there but just your basic finger food hot dogs hamburgers kind of stuff. Looks like parking could be challenging if you went later in a day and it was pretty crowded there didn't seem to be much parking. If you like bring a bike bring your running shoes they have pads to hike and bike they also have a couple restaurants right across the street so you can definitely spend the day there. Can't...

I was very disappointed in the condition of our public beach pier. I will post pictures. I don't understand why this isn't maintained on a regular basis. Part of the side is missing in a section. There is a trip hazard coming off of the large section. And then the deep dip. I didn't take a picture of the missing section from the cement slab to the pier.
