Under the Willow Bakery — Restaurant in Cumberland

I went to check this place out for the first time because I have a RI Food Fights iced coffee coupon but they are closed for vacation until the 30th leaving only 2 days to redeem the coupon. I’m not sure when they went on vacation but it would have been nice if they communicated that to RI food fights and updated their hours. Google maps says they are open but the sign on the door says closed for vacation. Their website does have a notice about their vacay but I didn’t not see that prior to going. I may try to go again...

I am a sucker for a good bakery. I went to this place a while ago when they first opened and got a chocolate croissant and I wasn’t impressed. I’ve decided to try it again because I was passing it and I really wanted to a scone but unfortunately, they only had one kind (kind I didn’t care for) and only one left, so I ended up getting a muffin and cheesecake. This new place is an absolute gem. It's run by a lovely family and it's just adorable. The best muffin I've ever had, the best Whoopi pies, the best buttercream frosting, the best chocolate croissants and of course the best rumcakes which you can't get anywhere else.
