I showed up on opening night based on a rave review from my next door neighbor. The restaurant was absolutely packed with happy smiling people clearly enjoying the food our hosts had prepared for them. The food was so good I decided to swing by the next day for my dinner as well. The food on the second night was as delicious as it was on the first night. This time I had the buttered chicken, naan bread, and mango lassi. As was the case on the first night, the hosts and owners were both wonderful people, going out of their way to make sure dinner was excellent and the atmosphere was perfect. I am quite sure now that this will be my go-to restaurant for all my Indian food cravings!

Everything from appetizers to the desserts was seriously tasty and felt super authentic at Vindu. The place has a cool way of mixing new flavors in without losing that homey vibe. The samosa chaat was on point, the chicken roast was melt-in-your-mouth tender, the naan (bread) are fluffy soft, only Raasa has similar quality naan and the pulao was generous and packed with flavor. Badam Milk in particular is a standout and must have. It reminded me of the home. Haven’t had a better meal in my 12 year stay in Rhode Island. I’m really into the changes they’ve made—it’s cozy, relaxed, and kind of feels like it’s yours. Highly recommend Vindu and definitely worth checking out!

I visited Vindu restaurant on the 25th of August for the first time. I loved the atmosphere which was very tranquil and displays a beautiful cultural setting which was nice. I ordered the Gulab Jamun and the Vindu Chicken Special Biryani and both were delicious. Right amount of spice and flavor. I also tried the Mango lassi which was very refreshing. I will definitely be stopping by again soon because I noticed that they had Roti on the menu!!! :) Its been a very long time since I ate Roti and I am very to find a restaurant that has it. I got my order to go but also rated my experience while waiting for my food and trying it. Vindu is definitely worth 5+ stars.

Visited this restaurant on day 1 and felt utterly disappointing. They played a cheap publicity stunt by saying "Free Unlimited Veg buffet" on day 1. There is a waiting time of 30 minutes just to grab a dinner plate and another 15 minutes to serve the food. 80% of the food trays are empty and are not refilled.

After waiting for 45 minutes, I have my dinner with white rice and half cooked dal. And they call it as Unlimited Veg buffet.

If you can't anicipate it, don't offer it. If you offer it, you should manage it.

Many people head back without even having the dinner after seeing the empty food trays.

If you want to promote your business, do it in a right way. Please don't fool the customers with such oudated marketing strategies.

You lost a customer on your...
