Nice layout in the dining room decor very well placed the food had good taste the problem I had was the serving temps were not even close to health department standards I take a thermometer with me to all buffets cold side was on point but hot side most dishes were well below temperature I made a point to tell them they just shrugged their shoulders and never looked or checked where I see a need to improve here is food should meet health department standards there really is no service here can't tell you about that you get your own drinks silverware they do have someone to remove used plates did that very well they do not have salt and pepper shakers it's in paper packs very disappointed with that as they have a really nice dining room decor and area but make it seem cheap by using disposable condiments at two people 35 dollars I really did expect more than we received i most likely will not go here again for if they don't care about serving temps of the food not sure if they actually care about the customer as well I can live with the self service style but feel like the price should be less than places that actually serve you over all I at the moment say be better off bypassing this one sad because the facility is beautiful and could be a really nice place owners may need to rethink the...
Read moreThis place has really gone downhill over the past year or so. It's too bad as my young kids enjoyed the place. However, after declining service and food quality for sometime, after this past visit we are done with the place. We stopped in just after noon on a Saturday and had the buffet. One would expect the food to be at least warm, if not hot, during prime time. This was not the case. I sample several chicken dishes, fried fish, crab, broccoli and cheese, eggroll, dinner roll, lo mein and not just a few, but every single item was stone cold. We were there for an hour and a half hoping they would bring something, anything out that was fresh and hot but the only thing to come out was a few fried fish fillets.
The kids were anxious to hit the ice cream so up went Dad to help them dip it into cones. Sliding back the freezer door I was horrified by the sight. Apparently they had some very old, gooey ice cream leftovers they scraped out of old buckets and right on top of the new tubs. I grabbed the scooper hoping to be able to find something safe to eat under the sticky, oozy mess but gave up after slopping around in the bucket for a while. It was so bad I took a photo of it but I don't know how to upload it to reviews.
In any event take my advice and don't waste your money here. I...
Read morenormally i am quite satisfied with this restaurant, i also understand the restrictions the virus has placed on restaurants etc , however the way it was all set up to do service was seriously a joke, they opened one buffet in which they barricaded with a line of tables, so they could stand behind and serve you take out!!! i had also called in their personally and then called them the day of re-opening over the phone to ask whether or not they were open......yes yes we are open, why don't you come in!!!! I should have asked them to be more precise about re-opening...... why would anyone want takeout from a buffet that has limited traffic thru out the day, it looked soooooo cheap, nasty and dirty!!! Honestly people takeout should be done to go, straight from the kitchen, NOT from a free standing buffet table that can hold food literally for hours, most dishes after an hour or so need revamping, usually with chicken stock...be careful ordering from here for now, you have no idea how old or long the food has been sitting;......lets hope when they do open up fully they do...
