El Paricuten Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Cynthiana

Went with my wife for a date night. Amazing atmosphere throughout the night. We were greeted warmly by the hostess and as soon as we sat down we were attended to by the waiter. The waiter was very attentive and nice. Always had a smile and always polite. We were quickly given salsa and chips as a pre-appetizer. He gave us enough time to choose our dishes. The food was delicious and he often came to refill our drinks. I wasn't sure about the margaritas sizes but the friendly waiter assisted me in picking the best size for me. We will DEFINITELY be returning. I highly recommend...

First i asked for more chips, had 2 adults 2 kids, she said need another i said yes we need 2..then the fajitas was burnt, charcoal black hard burnt. I ordered shredded cheese, she said cheese?? kids chicken over fried, salad shell like twice fried grease. She did not check on us, didnt ask if check seperate till at registar i said yes i had the fajitas she looked ar my friend stepped over to other side of registar and ask my friend what she had..completely ignoring me. Will NEVER go back and will let others know how bad...

Well, if you think Pace salsa the best, you'll like this place. If you want anything resembling Mexican food, go elsewhere. I've never seen a chile relleno stuffed with Velveeta before. Nor guacamole that was indistinguishable in both color and texture from the refried beans. I could go on, but why? Two stars instead of one, as the staff was capable and friendly...just the food was horrible...but isn't that why you go...
