The food has very little flavor. For those that dont want additional details, there you go. For those curious, my wife ordered a chimichanga plate. The beef had no flavor, almost like it was boiled. It also had very little cheese or anything else inside the chimmy. To wrap it up on her meal, the refried beans were the worst either of us has ever had. My meal was the Jalisco fajitas. Mine wasn't as bad as my wife's, but still not very good. Very limited flavor. Not too sure, but it was almost like it was spiced for the elderly. No offense to the seasoned among us. But I think you get what I'm saying. They also only gave me two corn tortillas. Hadnt heard that there was a national tortilla ration, but that was my takeaway. The quality of the ingredients seemed fair, just not palatable. We ordered desserts because we didn't want to choke down anymore of our entree and wanted to give this place a fair shake. I'm glad we did! My wife's sopapillas were very good! Light and flakey and filled with cinnamon goodness. I had the changas? Not how it was spelled, but that is apparently how it is said. This awesome dish is cheesecake wrapped in a fried tortilla! Oh man! Great stuff! Maybe this was what they were rationing the tortillas for? It is also served with ice cream with whipped topping. Highly recommended. Just dont go there for entree's. Unless you dont like to taste your food. We had heard that this place was decent. Huge plate that I ordered. Contained 5 items plus rice and refried beans. Didn't care for the red sauce! Tasted like Chef Boy Ardy (?) ravioli sauce from a can! Same as another Mexican restaurant in another state I had in the past! Very filling! Took a to go plate which I got 3 meals from! My 2 friends ordered burritos, which were HUGE! They also got to go plates! Over all, very good! Great Mexican environment! Apparently all Mexican restaurants have issues with the restrooms! Switches in weird places with no actual light switches, beat up, falling apart base boards, unclean restroom floors as well as the hallway leading to them! The rest of the building was good! This used to be a great place to eat. Was here on 12/26/23 at 630 pm for a pickup order. When I called order in I had to repeat the order several times as it was obvious the cashier was talking to someone else. Then, I had placed 3 orders of special dinner. I asked for two extra cups of salsa. When placing multiple orders in the past, this never was an issue. The cashier proceeds to tell me that since they were placed on one ticket, they would have to charge additional. The cashier also proceeded to tell me she asked the manager and he said, "No!". I asked to speak with the manager and he comes out. She asked him this time in my presence and he said no problem. So, obviously she lied about asking. She came across as just plain rude.
