The Sweet Boutique — Restaurant in Cynthiana

Food is absolutely delicious. However, I do not appreciate the fact that most the staff here, especially in upper management, are incredibly unprofessional. I've seen many inconsistencies, especially in the cleanliness of dishes and dining area. I also believe that management believes that advertising is more important than maintaining the business itself, and they are more seen posting on social media than working among their employees in order to satify customer needs. I believe I had seen some part of the management team before, but they seemed to be on their phone for the time they were there. The more I've become a regular the more I've realized this, even driving by and seeing young employees working hard to close without any management around. In other restaurants outside of town, I usually tend to see a manager or two always present. It was strange to see...

My wife and I live in Alexandria, KY and drove through Cynthiana Sunday morning. We both wanted a coffee beverage and something to eat. I got the cinnamon roll and a vanilla latte and my wife got the tomato basil quiche. Our lattes were amazing and frothy. My cinnamon roll was one of the best I have ever had this side of the Mississippi River, as it had great cinnamon flavor and buttery tasting. I had a couple bites of the quiche and it was very tasty. The service was top notch and it was awesome to see Santa and Mrs. Claus there for photos with the kids. We both said we know where we are stopping in the future on our way to Lexington. I visited the Sweet Boutique for the very first time on my birthday. I had the Original Skillet! It was so delicious and it was hot and it also came with a biscuit which was huge-now I liked that! The staff was very friendly and since this was my first time, I asked my server for suggestions for coffee. I was given several choices and decided upon the "Pink Christmas"- that was so good!! I enjoyed the atmosphere so much and thought it was so neat how the food was brought out in real bowls and plates with an old antique charm. This is a great place to go - don't pass it up!
