I was in the area with my family and found this restaurant and decided to give it a try, love the name of it. This is a order at the counter then sit down, type of restaurant. I love the dining room area for their decor. The food did not disappoint, except for their chicken tenders which was a little dry on the inside and their root beer float. I was told by my kid (who ate the tenders) that their ranch was really good, comparable to Wing Stop ranch. Got the classic burger, it was a decent burger and it hit the spot. Got the Coney Dog, which I really liked. The hot dogs have the casing that gives it a nice snap when you bite into it. You can also order the hot dogs without the casing but who doesn't like a nice snap. The corn dogs are hand battered and was really good, according to my kid which she didn't share. The tots and fries are good, the tots were crispy and the fries reminds me of the in-n-out fries when they're done "medium well done". The onions rings was really good here, one of the best that I have eaten in a while and I have eaten a good amount recently (a unhealthy amount). Their chili cheese fries was really good, maybe it was the chili that made it good because my hot dog had chili on it also which I liked. The root beer float was ok to me, the root beer had a taste to it I didn't like. Mixing it with ice cream made it taste better but the root beer taste like a root beer candy, kind of a artificial after taste. For sure it wasn't A&W root beer, maybe it's an in-house root beer. The service was a little slow and I had to walk up to the counter twice to get the sauces I asked for when I placed the order. To be fair, the restaurant did get busy as we sat down to wait for our order. The kitchen was pumping out the orders as fast as they could but they seemed a little under staffed. Overall the food was good and I would return to try other items...
Read moreThis is literally the greatest restaurant on the entire planet. Gordon Ramsay himself is in shambles and shakes and cries in his boots when he hears the name "Joe Schmoe's". If you wish to have the most delightful meal you have ever indulged yourself in, look no further. Go to Joe Schmoe's for the best experience you have ever had in your entire lifetime. I was treated to a 20-course chef's choice meal and it was beyond delightful. My favorite foods within this 20-course meal were of course, the filet mignon (medium rare, crispy and cooked and seasoned to perfection), the lobster (buttery, also perfectly cooked), calamari (the lime and marinara sauce were incredible with it), foie gras (so buttery and delicious, absolutely the taste of the upper-echelon), and my favorite by far was the caviar (best caviar in my lifetime at joe schmoe's). The staff are friendly and they all told me how cute I looked which made me blush just a slight bit. I even got to meet chef Joe Schmoe himself and he greeted me with a big smooch which made me feel special. He was a very handsome man and made me feel very safe as he held me with his big strong hands. He then hand-fed me his delicious food and then helped me swallow it down with a big swig of his yummy milk. Joe Schmoe was even kind enough to give me a nice back massage and finished it off with a happy ending. Highly recommend this...
Read moreMy in-laws live within walking distance and the food is cheap, so we eat here a lot. If I'm trying to eat healthy, I get a grilled chicken hamburger, but I order it wrapped in lettuce. Its pretty good, the chicken has a nice salt and pepper flavoring and the texture of the chicken is good. If I'm not eating healthy, I order chicken strips, which are just okay. The breading on the chicken strips isn't my favorite, but they're decent. The fries are decent, the spices they on them are good, but the fries are often a bit too squishy for me to love them. My favorite thing here are the tator tots. They're always crispy and amazing. They also have frozen custard, which is delicious - I highly recommend the concrete with Butterfinger. They expanded not too long ago so they have more seating. There are TV's all over with sports on, so if you're into that, this is the place for you. My husband loves the hot dogs with Mac and cheese and bacon. I've eaten some of the Mac and cheese, and it is also delicious. One last note is that they have the really good ice in their soda machine that I can munch on before the...
