I work in Dagsboro and I’m glad I decided to walk into this place about a year ago and give them a try. Have nothing but the best things to say, I’ll start with the first impression, a friendly small town coffee shop with an assortment of coffee (big surprise there) and other treats such as hand dipped ice cream and a toy store that I enjoy taking my kids to. Everyone who works there has a friendly smile and aura, excellent customer service and will always make sure the customer is satisfied. The food ALWAYS looks like the photo on the menu, the coffee is always wet and both quenches my thirst & gives me the drive to carry on with the energy of a spry teenager. The owners wife has a beautiful smile that always brightens up the seating area when she’s checking on her customers to make sure all their needs are met. As I’ve built a great customer relationship with them they continue to make me feel like I’m at home every time I walk in the door, as I was constantly abused verbally growing up. I’ve seen many businesses come and go from this location over my lifespan in Dagsboro, but these people are the real deal, I really hope...
Read moreKisa Cafe feels like your buddy’s college dorm in the best kind of way. It’s a cozy atmosphere with an older style of carpet and flair. There’s cotton on the top of the ceiling made to look like clouds with shimmering sparkles. There’s an eye-catching crt tv with high school kids discussing who’s dating who while they take turns playing Super Mario, there’s even a switcher for regular tv. There’s a bunch of nice hipsters running the coffee shop and cranking out orders. The eclectic old furniture feels like someone’s hand-me-downs got the love and respect they deserve. The place is very clean despite how old the furniture looks.
My vanilla Frappuccino was excellent. The bacon egg and cheese was solid. They have a small selection of baked goods for sale.
The cafe also is also half toy store with fun board games and knick-knacks. There is apparently a website where they ship to locals for free.
Overall, amazing atmosphere and interior. I would love to visit this place with my friends again some time. This is the kind of off the wall place that I’m proud to...
Read morestopped by KisaCafé, drawn by its reputation and my love for coffee. The atmosphere was impressive at first glance. Unfortunately, the service did not live up to expectations. The staff member at the counter appeared frazzled and impatient as I ordered for my daughters and myself. Given my experience as a business owner, I recognize the value of a positive first impression, which seemed lacking. After a brief moment, I noticed another patron enjoying a fruit bowl and jokingly mispronounced the word, to which the cashier responded with an air of superiority. We placed our order nonetheless, and I added a digital tip, to which the cashier responded with a somewhat dismissive acknowledgment. I typically prefer to tip in cash, as evidenced by the tip jar. When my daughter asked for a straw, the cashier's delivery was lackluster, tossing it unwrapped onto the counter. While it's possible the cashier was having a bad day, the service fell far short of standards. In the end, the coffee was very good, but the service issues significantly...
