How do you screw up a quarter pounder deluxe w/bacon, medium fries and dr. pepper? Well this place has found a way! I didn't have much time for lunch on my way to work, didn't see a line so figured I'd get a simple McD combo....bad idea as it turns out! Not one car ahead of me at 1:30... first off the menu wasn't visible and I had to ask them to turn it on. Quickly ordered and paid, no problem...then at window 2, get my drink which looked like it had been sitting out a while? Then was asked to pull to spot#1, no eye contact or reason, just a bit rude and uncaring. I thought maybe they are dropping fresh fries? So pulled up and sat for 5 minutes as I watched 4 other vehicles get their food FAST and drive off. I'm about to be late for work so I had to GO IN. Politely asked if my meal was ready and I had to get to work. Someone said to the other girl my meal was needing a medium fry (again avoiding eye contact). Put it in the bag and away I went. When I got to work the real disappointment set in. So there was no reason for me to have to wait and I barely made it to work on time to find my fries were cold and dried out--I recall they had about a dozen cartons filled up above the frier for some reason (remember they were NOT busy). Sandwhich was also cold and missing bacon, and like everything else looked and tasted like it was sitting for a while. I wasnt expecting hot and perfect but this was pathetic! Mind you I was only a few minutes from work and I had the bag rolled down tightly. So what should have been the easiest order ever turned into a long ordeal and major disappointment in that it tasted awful... all because? I can't fathom why they would have food pre-made when they were slow, or even if they were busy this would not be acceptable, and to make me pull up and sit?! Mcdonalds like everywhere else it seems cannot turn out a simple product or give a care in the world for customers forking over their hard earned cash. Lesson learned, never return to...
Read moreI went in to dine at McDonald's during dinner in Daleville and overall it was a good, comfortable experience.
The resturant has a lot of space available to dine in or wait in the "lobby" area for food. The floor and the tables are clean and are kept clean regularly. The interior decoration however seems very standard. There are 3 standing kiosks that are convenient to order from. Thus, the front kiosks were closed. The exterior has not been renovated to match a corporate McDonald's.
The southern hospitality is not very apparent in this McDonalds, however. Although my order took longer than I expected, I was content with the wait. At the time, it was not very busy and there were only roughly 4-6 workers at the time. This McDonald's is not understaffed, but I would advise not going through the drive-thru in the morning as they would ask you to park or pull forward if you were ordering a coffee with your meal. McDonald's is often busy in the drive through in the mornings, and during lunch.
The food and beverages itself are starting to rise in prices.. A normal meal is typically $6-$9. I've noticed that regular burgers(like the Big Mac) are $4-6 dollars itself. The food itself are missing ingredients. I got a big Mac and it was missing the cheese, and the lettuce. Perhaps they don't include that in the burger unless you ask or indicate that you are adding those ingredients.
For my final remarks, I would rather go here over Wendy's in the Daleville area to dine in...
Read moreI went through the drive through around 9- 9:30. I ordered a number 4 and a Daleville Meal Deal. I tried to order a Medium Frappe, but they told me their ice wasnt dispensing, waited in the drive thru atleast 10- 15;minutes and there was only one other car in front of me. The people in front of me handed the whole bag back to the cashier and waited a few minutes. When i got to the window , I was asked if i had 4burgers I said No .After told them what i ordered I was asked if I had any drinks. The workers acted like they didnt know what to do. They werent even busy. This is not the first time Ive been told I couldnt get a frappe at this location, it been several times. I got 1/4 of a mile down the road and noticed my fries were cold. And greasy like theyd been sitting for a while. The cheeseburger and nuggets were cold as well. Im askin myself why i even go to Mcdonalds the only time its right is during the day , sometimes. So i spent $18.18 for my food to be old. I had to throw...
