Update: The lady that takes my lunch order is so nice. As soon as I order my doggy burger, she knows who I am and asks how I'm doing. She is always on point. She's there almost every time I go. She takes the orders and is at the window handing out the food and filling the drinks. She holds that place together and deserves a raise.
Daleville Wendy's has turned in to my least favorite place to go for lunch. 3 months ago the staff was so friendly and food was hot and arrived fast. Past few times not so much. Today I waited a good 10 minutes before even placing my order. Once you get to place your order, you have to repeat yourself numerous times. Then you get to the window to pay, the music is always loud (hence why the order had to be repeated so many times) and I can never get a receipt. Then when pulling up to the window to get your food, normally the 2 ladies that were there always greeted me with a smile and fussed over my dog. Now you have 2 of the most ignorant girls there that won't even look at you or acknowledge your presence while one was literally measuring ice in cups and the other was fumbling with food in a out of bags. She hands me my drinks, then my bags and says nothing. I check my bags as always because there's nothing more that pisses me off is not getting all my food. So I notice there's no straws. So I wait til the girl is done measuring out more ice and what not and she turns to hand me those drinks too and sees that it's still me. Very sarcastically she asks what do I want. I said I just need straws and smiled, no big deal. She then tossed the straws at me and slammed the window shut. We have officially knocked Wendy's off my 2x a week list of lunch places now. And don't waste your time on the #5 Grilled Chicken Wrap. It's disgusting. 6 small chunks of chicken overloaded with lettuce and damn near dry. Alls you taste...
Read moreThis cost me about $7.50 - I'd call the highway robbery. I researched allergen info, and to Wendy's credit, their online menu is reasonably well-labeled. This is an important first step in being allergen friendly, but it's still a terrible customer experience. The online info appeared to be accurate, but that's where the allergen friendliness ends. I would personally interpret it as "if you have food allergies DO NOT EAT HERE". They do allow you to customize your order, to remove anything you are allergic to. As seen here, expect to still pay full price for it, even if you can't eat most of it. The same legal disclaimer is present indicating that cross contamination is possible and they cannot guarantee the safety of their food. In fairness to Wendy's this is pretty typical in the industry, but this also indicates a severe limit to allergy friendliness; it's largely a PR stunt, and do not confuse it for anything more. Wendy's is on par with the industry, but that is not the same as saying they are in any way allergy friendly. They are not, despite being a little bit better with their menu labeling (although apparently a little behind with burgers as lettuce wrap options). I used to opt for Wendy's over other comparable burger chains because Wendy's generally has much better burgers. I expected better, and I'm sorely disappointed. I'm continuing to search for an allergen friendly fast food chain - Wendy's is not it. I hope someday...
Read moreMy experience at Wendy's today has not been my only experience at this Wendy's I'm first sight when I walked in the place was clean That's why I came back on this visit hopefully they got their customer service together from the other visits and yes they hired different people but same problem this Wendy's support the Wendy's app but when you go to get a price for your food is never right and the manager supposed to have the qualifications to give you the right price they advertise on the app. This Wendy's will push you away quickly everybody that worked there was angry and rude. I don't know why when I come in there The employees never have a pleasant vibe they make you wait on your order when there's no one in the building but a handful of customers is never busy. Customer service was so poor this franchise has went down also the food is still and never fresh never The manager Kim pushed us straight out of the door didn't want to take the time to answer our questions about the prices on the app She did not want to accept them at all these employees are rude. Now I understand why that Wendy's in Daleville doesn't thrive . You will throw away your money eating there! Rude Rude Rude 😞😒 One more thing I'd like to add it's hot outside this summer I had my 64-year-old mother with me coming from church, The manager with the employees did not want to do their job and they let us know this customer service ...
