I worked as a manager at Andy’s in the past, so I try not to be judgmental, especially when there is a big rush, but my experience tonight was very disappointing. I ordered outside with a young man for one Reese’s concrete and one pumpkin pie concrete, after that I’m not sure where the miscommunication happened, whether there or inside, but when we got to the window we were not greeted at all. After 30 seconds or so the girl at the window just hastily gave us the total. After paying, the items we’re practically thrown at us with a half hearted ā€œhave a good day.ā€ I had never had a pumpkin pie concrete in the past but I knew something was off because there was caramel in it. I asked ā€œis this the pumpkin pie concreteā€ and she said ā€œ it was supposed to be pumpkin pie?ā€ In a tone that sounded surprised/irritated. They immediately took the incorrect item back, which was a big red flag because I really hope they did not hand that item back out to someone else after it had been with me. The cashier then asked me for $0.54 more for the correct order. Obviously the amount isn’t the issue, but the concept that even though my order was incorrectly done, I was still asked to pay additional, was surprising. For an amount that small, wouldn’t you normally just comp it out? They like many drive thru restaurants have drive thru times/goals to make, and that interaction took longer for everyone than it had to. I asked why I needed to pay since it was their mistake but was ignored. After an awkward silence she told me that it was $0.54, implying that I wouldn’t get my item if I didn’t pay up. The whole interaction just came off as extremely cheap/penny pinching to me, and I didn’t feel wanted there as a customer at all. I felt like I was just irritating them by wanting what I ordered in the first place. Definitely was not a positive experience and somewhat depressing to see the direction that Andy’s is going- I hope this was...

I went their not by my self yesterday & the otber person got more serving on ice cream in his cup vs mine through drive through the young kids serving also in the drive through area or this location needs to pay more close attention on the serving the ice cream idk whos the manager at this location but needs to pay more close attention its better to walk up to get served vs the drive through honestly. The manager or employee there didnt get his name when i had went through walk up not the drive through to fix my order got more scoops of ice cream though 3 or 4 scoops missing from large which is at 10.00 but peacans and carmel in a separte containers? Mind you this all young HS kids working back their not paying close attention to service to drive through costumers. Always double check your orders nothing is cheap anymore and costumer service is Trash / Rude Attitude Ghetto in a hurry all the time & etc esepcially in Dallas also makes you not to wanna go anywhere regardless of the seasons outhere in DFW also especailly here in Dallas in DFW also SMH. (My experience yesterday wasnt like this but kids back their font pay close attention to service in drive through. Hopefully the walk up serice is alot better idk?!) Remember costumer is always right double check your orders either drive through or walk up esecially here. Get what you pay for nothing is afforable or cheap anymore... First picture is how i was first serviced from drive through yesterday smh nope other pictures is when i had went to the walk up at this Andys location. Still wasnt fixed to my standards so here is my review. This Andys can do alot better for...

I had the best experience today. I LOVE ANDYS. I will tell you about todays experience I have 4 kids and they all have different icecream requests also my husband ask for his ice cream very particular way and I have my own request it can be confusing for person taking our order most of the time. The guy who took our order was very distracted and seem very confused taking my order we still proceed on the order. At the register the girl taking out money seem a little annoyed šŸ˜’ by the day. I don’t blame it could of have been one of those days. They got my request incorrectly I asked them to please remake my ice cream since they gave me a brownie hot gig de instead of brownie pecan concrete. The register lady told me it was a difference of $2.43 I was a little confused about it but thought ā€œdon’t make her day any harderā€ I kindly gave her the money in return I get gestures and bad vibe. I got my order request order WRONG AGAIN. I was a little annoyed and of course with 4 kids in the car a little overwhelmed about the situation I said to my husband ā€œlet me just get out the front window and see if they can help meā€

I was very lucky the manager kindly asked me what happened and I explained she was just amaizing yall, she took my order request full of nice way and manners. Sometimes a business doesn’t understand how important is to have people who is kind it’s a big difference. I am not lying when I say I had a bad day and she really fix it with a smile and her education she made me feel so good and I wish Andy’s keeps people like this manager for ever! She makes a...

Here's #TheLatestFoodNews Eyes eat first! Location: Small plaza with ample parking. Driver thru & outdoor order available. Great place to catch a quick sweet bite after work or even the weekend. Affordability: Basic orders like Custard on cone: $3 - 4 Concretes, Jackhammer, & Blends: $6- 10 Worth it? Yes, swing by! Service: Hit or miss, depends on who's running the window. Sometimes it can be quick & sometimes they'll ignore you. What I ordered... * Cookie Butter Crunch Concrete: 4.7 Stars. If you've never had Cookie Butter spread from Trader Joe's or Cookie Butter ice cream, definitely add it to the bucket it. Rare for shops to carry them, but they are super delicious. Andy's version features their signature Vanilla custard blended with Biscoff Cookie Butter & Biscoff Cookies for that extra crunch! *BOOTDADDY: 5 Stars. All time favorite item on the menu. If you love Oreos and fudge, this one's for you. Vanilla custard with Oreos, Creme Caramel & Hot Fudge. Feel free to opt out of certain ingredients, as their specialties can get pretty sweet. Overall, despite the hit or miss service, I came for the goods & the goods always deliver! See you on the next adventure! **Tip: Custard melts much faster than regular ice cream. Majority of the items on the menu use a Chocolate or Vanilla base custard. Review & Menu as of 02/24/2024
