An acquaintance of mine went to order a cookie cake for a family celebration the night of the election. The manager at the establishment refused to make the cake. Even though it was not inappropriate, it did not align with their personal political views. Therefore, they called back 15 minutes after My acquaintance/friend placed the order to advise that they would not be able to make the cake as requested. I think it’s sad, and extremely unprofessional to force your personal beliefs onto a customers request. Even more so to refuse the order completely. I just want to ensure that people know the kind of company that they’re dealing with, more importantly that corporate knows! It’s OK that we all think and believe differently, it’s not OK to refuse service based off of those personal beliefs....

The two people working on November 24 at 2:30 pm were rude to my mother. It would help if you educated your staff members on which gluten-free cookies you have. Every time she comes here, she asks for gluten-free cookies, but they say they don't sell those. So my mom has to look up what cookies are gluten-free and show them physically. Well, today, she looked it up, and the claim manager today said, “Well, if you know it, then why are you asking?” This is very horrible behavior, and I do hope you correct it. We have been coming to this location since it's the only place in our area that sells gluten-free cookies she likes but we will be looking for another location. Picture this - hours before your wedding you are scrambling to find a reliable baker to make a custom cookie cake after your initial plans changed. You call all over the DFW area but nobody can take your order because not only is it your wedding day, it's also New Years Eve.
