El Merendero — Restaurant in Dallas

Very bad experience here... Also they change the price of beer on the spot, it went from $5 to $6 within minutes. I've called the cops on this people for having a guy that works there pull a gun on me! As soon as cops arrived the one of the ladies that work there started lying nasty, Somehow the officers believed them more and they were trying to get me in trouble then....Horrible experience never going back to that corrupted place again... The 2 officers that came out did a horrible job and those are the bad apples that should get checked upon!!! Making the wrong choices believing nothing I said, and just letting this business continue to do the bad they keep on doing to people, not a very good job officers!!! And just for the notes, I could of gone a bit further and an extra step with this since they do have cameras outside and it would of revealed the truth, but at this point I'm not going to waste my precious time and energy with the so called law enforcement officers and...

I came on a Saturday morning and was completely ignored. There were other patrons being served, but not me. I was not greeted by the ladies behind the counter, had to find my own menu, had to walk up to one of the ladies who was behind the counter, had to repeat myself twice because she was too busy on her phone to look at me and had gotten my question, "Can I sit anywhere?" translated. After 15 minutes of looking at the menu and no one to ask me if I would like anything to drink, despite several women working behind the counter and some milling about asking if their kids wanted more food (which was left on a table), I took my money elsewhere. I got into the restaurant and nobody greet me or said where to sit, how can I help you or anything, I chose a table and sat there waiting for service. After, 3 minutes I went to the restroom and when I came back it took the waiter 2 minutes to bring me a menu. That’s my only complain about my visit, because once she brought me the menu she and the other waiter were very attentive, nice and efficient.
