Lil Vees BBQ — Restaurant in Dallas

Will NEVER be back.

This place was recommended to my dad by the pastor's wife. My dad who is also a pastor told her he would support. I don't even care how the food taste. I ordered my food online and it said it would be ready between 1:45pm and 1:50pm. The site, as well as a text and email, said that my order was ready to be picked up at 1:49p. When I got there the old man said that he hadn't sent amessage saying order ready for pickup. He said it will take 10 minutes if you want to wait. I sat down and watched him and the cook serve 8 people who walked in after me. After the 8 people were gone the old man started giving the cook advice. Eventually, he glances over at me and says "oh the door dash order." From the time I got the come pick up your food message to the time I received the food, it had been over an hour. At first he didn't even hand it to me. I guess he thought I would reach over the register to get it. He neither offered me an  apology nor my dad when he called about the order. Will not recommend this place to almost 500 member...

I placed the order on Uber Eats. I ordered the 2 meat plate short ribs and slice beef. With the extra meat, which was a hot link, my sides collard greens and baked beans and I selected sauce on the side payed extra to order pickles and peppers That being said i received Green Beans. Bake beans with chopped beef on top, slice, beef and ribs swimming in sauce. Probably 2 full cups of sauce. It's just swimming, no pickles, no peppers, very dissatisfied. And there's a difference in ribs and short ribs My husband ordered the 3 meat potato. He was satisfied...

Love coming here because of the atmosphere, but especially because of the food!! Great home cooked food and great bbq!! Love the ower and everyone that works there, very friendly and carry a great spirit you feel at home with. Always love going...
